I got a haircut....please tell me what you think

You have no reason to be camera shy - your hair before and after is beautiful, as are you. There is a member here on YT who cut all of her hair off and donated it to a place that makes wigs for people with cancer who have lost their hair. That's a pretty awesome thing to do.

Your daughter has BEAUTIFUL hair color!!! That is great what she is doing.....I don't know if the length they cut off is long enough, because I know it has to be at least 10 inches but I will certainly try. I actually hadd my hair long in High school and I cut it I think shorter than this time for Prom and the stylist gave me my hair so I can donate. It was sooooo long. I was going to get ready to donate it but when I went to school and came back it was gone. Someone stole it! It was my grandmother!! LOL She said she wanted to keep it to remember it...so I let her have it cause I love her dearly and my hair grows really fast anyway. This time I am donating it for sure!

Awww thanks so much!! Why did you cut it? My mom also used to have really long hair and she cut it so short, it's near her shoulders now...I usually love long hair but it was time for a change and summer time!!

Thank you...I love love love the bangs now....Actually when I woke up this morning I thought it would be all messed up but the bangs are still in tact and look great. My hair is straigher cause the curls fell but I need to buy a curling iron. Of course I wish I knew how to do it how the stylist does. She does such a great job!!! She says all it takes is practice.

It doesn't take me much time at all.....everyone always ask me but I never have an answer lol because my hair grows so friggin fast. Like I cut it for senior yr, right now I am in sophmore yr of college but that before picture was taken I think Freshman yr of college and that's how long it was already. Then I cut the tips a couple months ago only and it grew really quickly even longer than before. My friends always tell me when they see my myspace pics dang girl didn't you just cut your hair?? lol That's why I went short cause I know it prob. won't last long...I'll have to keep cutting it. Maybe give your daughter hair Vitamins so that it will grow faster. My mom used to give me vitamins growing up, maybe that worked a little ?

Yea the bangs are hot!! That's so cool that you are a stylist! I wish I knew how to do all that. I was thinking of getting into it but I'm a little consufed about what I want to do in life right now. Thank you for telling me about the free cuts. I didn't know that. I will def. check it out for next time.

Your g'ma! Haha she loves you ... I once had a hair cut and they put it in a low ponytail and just snipped it off that way. Now my hair is 2 inches above my waist ... maybe one day again, when I get the nerve to cut it up to my shoulders.
Thanks for the compliment about my kid .. BTW, do you know there is a LOCKS of LOVE in Carle Place on Voice Rd .... they will donate it for you directly, my neighbor did it .. Yes, I think it has to be 10 inches ... but what a good feeling knowing you helped someone .... you must really feel great! and you look great!!!

I found all this out just now .... you do not need to go to Carle Place ..(which is near Roosevelt Field, BTW).

*We need hair from men and women, young and old, all colors and races.

*Hair swept off the floor is not usable.
*Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid. *Hair that is short, gray, or unsuitable for children will be separated from the ponytails and sold at fair market value to offset the cost of manufacturing.
*You may pull curly hair straight to measure the minimum 10".
*Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails for donation.

The majority of all hair donated comes from children who wish to help other children.

If you deside you want to do hair Really make sure that is what you want. It may look like a cool job and I do love to help people look and feel better about themselves But it is a very demanding and the long hours are hard too. I also havee to have surgery on my shoulder because of the over use of it
