				 | Oh My God, that woman is a poor excuse for a human being. How could anyone possibly have a dog for 15 years and just because it's getting old and all the health things that go along with that want to kill the dog because of that? She'd better hope that the people around her care more for her than she did her dog when she gets old. Otherwise, she will get what she deserves. I think you did the best you could under the circumstances.

				 | Well, someday God will see that she gets hers. My little Indy was 17 and incontinent. I just put a belly band and pad on him. Good grief, it wasn't that hard! He felt bad enough for both of us about it. I hope someone shows her so much kindness that she is blown away and starts shaping up. |

				 | I wish we could have taken her too. But we are totally over packed and over our limit. When you're a no-kill you have to know your limits or you will become over run and you will lose the ability to even care for the animals you have. That's called hoarding. In order to be humane we have to know when to say, no. It broke my heart to turn her away but I knew I had too. And like I said, she would have never been adopted. In fact, I doubt she would have even lived long from the shock from going from 15yrs in a home to a kennel. No ones ever wants older dogs especially ones that pee in the house. I have 6 dogs of my own and I would literally have been kicked out of my house if I ever brought another critter home no matter what the circumstances. Guys, please don't make me feel anymore guilty than I already do by saying I should have taken her.. Because I wish I could have.. I just had to talk about it to people who I knew would understand. I had to get it off my chest. Remember that I hear and see these things every single day. And every once in a while I can't take it.
