| No, I don't think dogs can strep. But remind her to throw out her toothbrush and get a a new one. I also keep new ones on had for Haley when she gets strep. Also, don't drink or eat after her because you can catch it. |

| I asked this question when I first got Coco and had loads of responses. Apparently, we cannot give our viruses to our babies. Human viruses do not transfer to our pets. I even asked our vet and she confirmed Hope your sissy feels better

| I don't know a lot about this but there are diseases that can pass between the two species. They are called Zoonotic. Strep is one of them. The dog can be a carrier and pass it on to other family members. On each page it is about half way down... http://www.vin.com/VINDBPub/SearchPB...00/PR00108.htm http://www.healthypet.com/library_view.aspx?ID=61&sid=1 http://www.druginfonet.com/index.php...rep_Throat.htm I have no idea how often this happens but better safe than sorry. No kisses until she is better.

| My vet told me that Hannah could catch viruses from us. I know that strep is not a virus so I am not sure if she could catch that. |
