|  You want to talk weather? Ours has certainly been weird! Last Thursday we were driving home and got caught in a tornado about 2 blocks from home...rain blowing sideways, nickel sized hail and 85 MPH winds blowing tree branches into the side of my car. The temp went up into the 50's or 60's and by that evening was back into the 30's or less. Friday we took my Mom out house hunting and had snow flurries off and on all day long but nothing was sticking. On the way home we ran into black ice on the highway...thank God my husband was driving and he saw it coming...he turned off the cruise and let up on the gas. There were cars all over in the ditches and one guy spun out behind us and zipped off into the ditch with the rest of them. There was a semi jack knifed on the highway with several cars and trucks over turned or in the ditches around him. We left town and had dry roads the rest of the way home...not even a snow flake. I can't wait for a warm, calm, sun filled day! |
