| I have to carry a backpack purse because I have problems with my shoulder. I carry my billfold, my (small) calendar, checkbook, a small checkbook like thing for cards, etc, a zip pouch with splenda gotta have that for my coffee when I eat breakfast out, my keys, and cellphone. Then I have a zip pocket in the purse with pens, mirror, chapstick, tweezers, and nail clippers. I think that just about does it! I really do use all those things, not sure how I would manage without them! No wonder I have to carry a backpack! It's not really THAT big though! WHEW!!!

LOL! I won't ever be too old!!! I have carried them for years and will have to carry them forever, and mine are pretty stylish. Here are some pictures of my current one. It is black leather and it was designed by a native Alaskan Indian artist, Dorothy Grant. The closeup of the flap is imprints on the leather of two hands, one going up and one going down along with the Raven symbol. It means that we all have talent and that talent can be released by the raven through our hands. It is quite beautiful. I bought it at the National Museum of the American Indian. You have to search, but you can find pretty and stylish backpack purses.
