LOL Funny you said that - when I joined I came from a big (now closed) site and we invaded YT ....I found YOU bettyeanne as one of the nicest people I've ever met online and you still are....

Back then I didn't feel I 'belonged' here but once I started posting up a storm I sure did. This site has always been great and it's a far cry from the tiny little yorkie site it started at...After 22 thousand posts it still isn't boring and I've met so many wonderful people here I can honestly say I changed how I felt about 'meeting' people on the net.

We're all here because we LOVE yorkies - so we all have that in common & after being online for years now - I've met some of the best people I could 'meet' and also have seen people that made me shake my head in wonder (thankfully they're a tiny minority) ....

it takes time to get to know people on a more personal level - but there are ways to do it.....For those who are just getting started - try pm'ing someone - or try a few posts in the picture section to get started....it really works and one day you'll feel like you've been here forever. We're a huge site made up of many personalities. We won't always agree with everything said but the nice thing is we are free to express ourselves and have a great moderator here to keep it running smoothly.

going off of what Villette said... a GREAT way to get people to post on your thread is by posting a picture of your yorkie. I get the MOST replies if it is just a picture of layla and i doing.. whatever... everyone LOVES to see pictures especailly of puppies!

I've started to feel like I belong a lot more just recently. I have realized that to be a part of something, you have to actually get involved and not just sit back. So I have started to share my experiences more and comment on others, so that everyone can get to know me and my babies! I think this is a wonderful group and I am proud to be a part of it!

People are much colder out here ya know........if you attempt to strike a conversation at the checkout lane at the grocery store.......they look at you like you're nuts! I LOVE reading/learning about others' furbabies...........so I rather spend my free time here than on TV or attempting to meet frivolous people around here.......haha!!

So yeah, who knows if I will ever belong........a couple thousand posts later and I am still roaming around

LOL Girl, I LOVE reading your posts and Bobbi is one of my favorite guys on here at YT!! And as to being a thread killer, I'm one too! LOL I really do think I deserve to win the "thread killer" thread because I am pretty sure I've killed the most on here...even ones I've started myself

So, in my humble opinion I say you totally belong here! I don't know what YT would do without you and your two adorable furballs!

LOL, that's what I heard about CT. It's kinda the opposite with me here everyone wants to know your life story and ask really weird questions about where I am from. I came from a place were people pretty much left you alone unless they knew you had the same things in common but they were never usually downright mean like they have been to me here. Generally speaking, I do have to say that people were more pleasant to me in NY than they are here (generally speaking). I guess that's what has caused me to be a hermit and stop my search for friends here. But I digress.

Not to go all stalker on you but I do look for your post about Bobbi because I think he is sooo beautiful (is okay to call a boy beautiful?). Okay he is sooo manly, LOL!

I do enjoy looking at pics of everyones babies and try to comment on the ones I see. I like posting pics of my baby too but I didn't want to overkill the site with pics of Queequeg.

Gosh, you are ALL too sweet! I really appreciate it.

Of course, you know (and many will agree).......your furbabies are one if not, the BEST dressed ones on here.......I absolutely LOVE every pic you post of them. Your love for them literally shines

I guess it was shortly after I got a wonderful offer to have my new puppy Grayson have a avatar made!!

V was so sweet or rather is.........

Then I really felt like I belonged after the first Gift exchange i was in, THat is a way to really get to know people

Well, you have a TON of new friends on here; starting with me. Yes, ocasionally there will be a 'troll' out there but usually gives up and takes off.........lol (many times with a ripped new one )

I really wish there was a YT meetup and that everyone could attend. Now, that would be super cool

I also agree.........the more you post and get 'involved' the more friends you make

I am very thankful to this site because for one, I found my boy here through a lovely breeder. YT has watched him grow since he was born

I was so happy to accidently find this site. I hung in the background
for awhile seeing how everyone knew each other. I saw a thread
I felt compelled to post on and almost got in a cyber space cat
fight Yes, it was one that I totally disagreed with. Then I thought
do I want to get involved with these kind of people who would think
this way? Someone PM'ed me and said it's only a few, to hang in there
and get more acquainted. I am sooooooooooooo very happy I did.
