| I've been a stay at home mom for 12 years too. I was starting to feel a bit bored with it a few years ago and went back to work. That lasted 4 whole months. Now I remember how lucky I am. It can be boring but it's better than the alternative to me.

| Really?? I want to work but my husband thinks I should stay home. I am afraid though because I never really worked and I only have taken 2 college classes since I graduated high school. I plan on going to school in August, I would like to become a teacher one day. I worked when we were station in South Korea in a private school where my kids attented school, as a "teacher" and I loved it. It was more like homeschool but in a school inviroment, I loved it .

| I am too. I do like it but of course I have my moments. It's much easier for me now since the kids are in school ALL day. I can come and go as I please and right now I'm enjoying my freedom. I did think of getting a part time job but who's going to hire me? I only want to work 2 or 3 days a week between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm and I need days off to go to the school functions and I want really good pay. Okay since there's no job out there like that for me I guess I'll just stay home! How old are your kids? When my kids were babies I felt like at times I was in such a boring routine but once they started school it got better. Plus I'm running alot with after school activities.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I worked full time until I was laid off 5 years ago - then I got Chanel - I may need to go back to work full time soon and am just cringing about WHAT to do & how the girls will handle it I keep busy on the computer and do work although only part time - but I agree - the alternative isnt appealing right now. But - when you work full time - you have a career & marketable skills...me...since I stopped working full time - I'm worried about WHO will hire me too because of the big gap |

| I'm a stay at home mom, and have been for the last 8 years. I have no choice I can't work because my illness is to bad. I do get lonely but then I find something to do. Bless your heart for all that HAVE to work outside the home.

| I am a stay at home Mom and have been for 6 years. I like My freedom. My Husband has a courier company and I do all of his billing so that does give me something extra to do with myself.

But really I don't even have a resume anymore! A while ago I was thinking of starting a Grandmother service. Where you take the elderly shopping, Dr. appointments, help pay bills etc. But I'm not sure I could do it. I'm taking care of enough people and pets now!

| No stay-at-home mom, here! I'm the breadwinner of the family at this point. I'm supporting my husband and myself while he finishes school! I'll be able to be a stay-at-home mom once my hubby's career gets off the ground and we start having children. |

| I work for a large firm from the comforts of my home office as a Teleworker! Alot of big corporations are adopting the idea as it benefits both employer and employee alike. It's like getting the best of both worlds, in my opinion! I get to be at home for both my skin and furbabies without getting bored! I would HIGHLY recommend it! |
