| ![]() I'm getting ready to start the WW too. I needed to wait till all this with my mother-in-law was over. My main problem, with ANY diet, is I don't like very much stuff. Examples...I love veggies, cooked or raw, but I'm not much on any kind of fruit. I think my biggest problem is I eat the wrong things and too much of it. I love pizza, meat and potatoes and I just over eat. I did try at one time to buy one of every fruit in the market. There is just not much I like besides apples and bananas. Does anyone have any advice?

| ![]() WOW! I can't wait to try the pumpkin muffins. I don't mind the point system but desserts are one of my favorites. The Weight Watchers breads are pretty good but I don't like their cakes or bagels. One of my favorite desserts is Key Lime or Lemon Merrangue (sp?) pie. If you use 1 pkg. of lemon or lime sugar free jello (with 1/4 cup of boiling water)and 2 containers of low calorie key lime or lemon yogurt, mix them together and then add an 8oz container of the cool whip free. Then I put some crushed graham crakers (not alot just a dusting)in a pie dish and pour the mixture over it. It made me very happy ![]()

| ![]() I'm also doing WW but I didn't join. My hubby and I are doing the points thing. He lost about 12lbs and I lost 5lb.. It is a bit unsettling for me, but I'm told that because I don't have a lot to lose it will be slow. But I love the zero point soups they are a life saver!!

![]() This time around I am not filling my pantry with a bunch of FF crap that I don't like the taste of anyway. I am eating mostly all regular foods. I am learning to make good choices and correct porportions. This is the stuff that's going to get me through the rest of my life, not the FF stuff. I know what you mean by eating the "wrong stuff" but I have found that once I figure out the point value of something I either think ![]() I didn't get this way overnight and I am not going to get thinner overnight either. Oh, the other thing I do is only weigh myself on weigh in days and NO more. I exercise to Walk Away the Pounds (Leslie Sansone) These are great! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I find that this time around I feel success instead of self defeating myself. I am usually my own worst enemy. I will win this time! ![]()

| ![]() Hey! that hungry girl site is AWESOME. I love the way they show the calories, fat, etc in typical dishes (e.g., KFC bowls) and then how to make them light in fat and cals. It is GREAT! Thanks so much!!!

| ![]() This is slightly off topic - but food related so someone who reads this thread might know the answer. I need a program where you can put in recipe ingredients and then it will calculate the cals, fat, carbs for the whole recipe or by serving, etc. My husband is a diabetic and recently had to start using insulin. You have to count the carbohydrates that you are eating and then give yourself enough insulin to cover that amount of carbohydrates. That means you cannot be too far off on your calculations or you will take too much or too little insulin - which can be DISASTEROUS! Prepared foods have the carbs per serving listed, but my problem is when I make something from scratch - I'd like some sort of computer program that would figure that all out for me. I do it by hand sometimes, but it takes lots of time. I know there is a computer program called Food Processor that will do this, but you have to pay for that program - which I can do - but I thought there might be something free out on the web somewhere. Thanks in advance!

| ![]() Have you tried fitday.com? You would have to list ingredients separately, but it will calculate all sorts of things for you and give nice reports too.

| ![]() That looks like it would work - but it is not free - which is OK but I just thought there might be something free on the web that would do the calculations. If I don't find anything free - this will probably do the trick - THANKS! ![]()
