BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | The Ella Fund I have spoke with Aubrey on the phone and she has suggested that we use the left over funds to start a "memorial fund" We can open a new paypal account and the money can be transfered over to that account. We can use it in case god forbid someone loses a furbaby. This way the money will be in there and we dont have to take all the time to PM everyone. Since so many donated, I need to know what your opinion is on this. I started a poll to ask for suggestions, so if you want to do the poll that would be great. I dont want to be the only one to have access to this money, I dont mind doing all the foot work, but we need to have a couple other people to also handle this, that way I'm covered. Thanks again, Missy |

| Well, I think that is a great idea Could it also be used to help those who are in need of help with high vet bills. Like members that everyone *knows* so there's no monkey business? I'd like to help if you want, but I haven't been here all that long. So if some longer-standing members volunteer, then that's all good. Just let me know I think this place is really really special!

| i think that is a WONDERFUL idea... i missed out on the donating but it is such a great idea. this is definitly a place where people come for support, and when you follow a family as close as many of us followed Aubrey and Will and Ella.. you feel liike you want to do something. however, i'm not sure the vet bill thing is a good idea... we would have to become picky/choosey and i really dont't think anyone wants to do that. i think it should only be for those fur babies that have passed away, that way we can buy flowers and whatever, and it isnt' a cash donation, but a way of letting the family know we are sharing in their grief. GREAT idea Missy. |

i think the idea is great.. however if it is in Ella's memory... i really feel it shoudl be for people who have lost a pet... i just think the vet bills would empty the account so fast!!! but i think it would be great to hear what others think about it | |

| I think it would just be easier to use the money to buy flowers and a plaque. That way someone doesn't get pissy about the amount donated to their vet. that might get ugly.

| It would be a GREAT thing if we could find a "standard" memorial gift or a rotation of gifts at a set price to send when one suffers a puppy death in their family. It would be ever BETTER if we could use our talented YT members to create such a memorial. What more fitting tribute could there be than to have a memorial made with love by one of your YT family members. It could be a simple painting, a flower arrangement, a plaque, etc., we have people who do all of those things. That way the greiving parents would receive a memorial, everyone would be treated "fairly" and it would help out one or more of our valued YT members. I like to keep my money in the family The steering committee could request pictures and make selections of the memorials. It would take some effort to set up, but once it was up and going then it would work soothly. |
