| ![]() i think its a really good idea, as most of you read about a person on here asking for money which tured out to be dodgy, maybe in furture the vet office could be checked out b4 money is given? im thinking maybe some horrilbe people might of set up a fake website saying it was a vets office, with a fake number so when you call they say they are a vets office. so if someone asks for money and someone lives in the area they can comfirm that it is a REAL VETS b4 money is given. what a sad world we live in when people lie about a sick pet to make money, they wouldnt do it if they had ever loved a furbaby and watched it suffer.

| ![]() I know when I lost Maggie I had the HARDEST time finding an ern for her, and before that I buried my last girl and bought a plaque for her and hug it on her tree in my yard. So I think those would be very touching gifts! Depending on what their owners decide to do with their remains, I know that I plan to keep my babies close to me, and urns run about as much as a delivery of flowers and I know that when I finally got Maggies and got her out of that pine box, I was soooo happy! It's a gift that really can keep on giving! Just a thought! I would donate FOR SURE to the fund! Any thing I can, its a very good idea!!!! Who hasn't lost someone? We can all relate! And as far as vet bills go... Mark my vote for no, its just not a good idea, it will start wars over who gets what and who did what for whom. It one visit can be thousands! And this fund, I think, is for the memories of those lost and the grieving humans they left behind. At least thats how I'm reading it. *Please post the info once you've set it up! I'd love to dedicate a Blanket on my site to the FUND and Donate 25% of the Proceeds from each sale! I may not have an unlimited income myself to donate, but I can help raise money through my business!

| ![]() this is a great idea!! I would be able to donate when I can the amount that I can. People need support when they lose their babies and this will be a great source of that.

| ![]() I am so proud of Will & Aubrey for not taking the cash. It just shows their strength of character and that their concern was truly for little Ella because we all know their vet bills are probably huge. I think the memorial fund is a great idea. As someone else mentioned, trying to pay vet bills would quickly deplete the account and could also lead to hard feelings or an opportunity for someone to take advantage of the situation. |

| ![]() I have spoken with admin and we have agreed that YT cannot sponsor a "memorial fund" for various reasons including the ones I mentioned above (there is another post in the poll thread). We know that your intentions are good and Aubrey, you are truly an amazing person to want to do this, as are the members that donated. You can all feel free to make donations and support each other privately in times of need. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me. Thank you, Kimberly~ |
