Lets turn this into something positive.

This is for anyone who is discovering that they NEED to do some heavy duty debt reduction.

It's not easy, but once you get into it, it becomes adictive. Econfomuizing doesn't have to be horrible. Make a game of it, challenge each other.

Remember ever penny counts.

The old saying is, "watch your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves"

Have fun with it and reward yourself for your accomplishments.

I'm sorry but I have had a hard time too with what has happened the last day or two. I am very thankful that YT is is very loving generous bunch but worry they are being taken advantaged of. One thing I have noticed about Kristy is she is repeatedly asking for help from YT to give her suggestions to her problems or buy her products or stuff to get her out of binds going back several months. Then does not listen to the advice given.

Barely 3 days ago she is posting about getting her hair done and a day or two later comes the post about losing her house.

I'm sorry but when you post about your life here people will be asking questions about it. I was also shocked at the rude and defensive posts and in my opinion perhaps the lack of true appreciation for the help she has received. Yes, people can forget things but it seems like the people who orders that were not sent were ignored until the last day when this was all brought out in the open.

People have given her help and suggestions for months and that includes me. I gave her links to really awesome daycare forums that she could go to and receive help and ideas to make her daycare successful and how to make contracts with her clients to prevent the financial situation she is in now going from several clients down to 2.

Daycare is a risky business but there are ways to lessen the risks. Get payments ahead of time before care, take deposits, make contracts and enforce them.... excuses why you fail to save yourself from being a victim don't cut it. If you are not willing to help yourself then why should people help you?

And the latest thread about how to make money from home. Kristy, I think you really need to focus on your dayhome and how you can make the things you have already started successful.

yes becasue i got rid of the ones not wanting to pay....thats why..i actually have 2 new ones starting on Tuesday!

just out of curiousity Kristy, what kind of changes are you going to be making to ensure you and your husband are making better decisions for yourselves and for your children going forward?

it's easy to make the statement "i'm going to change". it's a much more difficult feat to take the time to develop a long term plan and then sticking to it.

i really shouldnt get in to this

but..

The hair thing that post was started over a month ago i think if not it was a while back that it started besides a cut can cost $20 bucks and color out a bottle at home $5 bucks that is not making or breaking the bank or maybe she has a friend in the family that does the vut for free..i do and i know others who have the same things in the family i have a mechanic and hair dresser and paralegal, a hvac, etc..so stop assuming you know eveything

and like i said people can have a bad year with money not just a few bad weeks so maybe for a year or so she has been looking for new ideas and new plans weeks do add up

gosh me and my husband will have one awesome month and the next we are saving a pennys..even when we do good we're lookimg for ways to make more or more ideas to do something with...

This is not directed to any one just a general feeling i have

and again i will say this you arent getting the full story by reading someones post!! i dont know her whole story but im not judging and researching and that researching post stuff is lame dont people have anything better to do with there time then to make some one look bad i know i do i dont see how people can spend all day researching the web and yt to make some one look bad..lets see :
1. car poole
2. clean kitchen
3. mop floors
4. research post/web to make some look bad and that takes a lot of time
5. car pool
6. dinner..blah blah blah..lol

do unto to others as you would have done to you or however you say that..

Think first act second put your self in others shoes and see if you want people judging you, turn it around and see how that would make you feel

read your bible and if you are squeaky clean then say whatever you want

Girl, I say "stop talking and start the action" show everyone you are real don't talk anymore, do it, prove everyone wrong... I'm a strong believer in action not words.. My neighbor calls me Missuri (I belive that's the state he said) he said it's the show me state..

I believe Kristy is a REALLY nice lady/girl, she just has some spending problems, my sister is the same way but she is VERY nice, loving, and caring person that would never take advantage of anyone knowingly... If Krist was trying to get over on us then she would not keep trying to defend herself againt half of YT...

Hang in there things will get better, the New Year is around the cornor....

ohh and if you have questions for some one that might be offensive or deep maybe just pm that person, yes she put it out there but she didnt give details out there for a reason but im sure if you some one is generally interested and you pm her some of these questions that may come off harsh she could handle them better and answer you

I am not sure what Kristy's situation is, but I do know I have watched my children struggle through the same things.

Some people have a more difficult time growing up than others do. Why not give her the benefit of the doubt and believe her when she says she is going to change.

I bet she changes one thing for sure. I'm betting that she will never post on YT about her money problems again.

After the earlier postings....and now it feels like a deposition....whatever she says will be NOT ENOUGH.....and the way I look at it.....unless you have given to the aid yesterday and bought some of her items.....you don't have a dog in this race..........how she "fixes" her troubles will be up to her and no one's business but her own...

I will tell you this.......talk about NOT wanting ANYONE to know your business......I would have second thoughts about revealing to much about your life ....not here that is for sure....

We are beating a dead horse......

If there was another "Kristy" or someone like her. would I help? Your dang right I would.....the rest of you can go on about what you do for society......you make your choices........I do too....

I think since there are a few doubtfuls that Kristy should stick to what she said and post a copy of the receipts.
And I'm sorry to say but that after I donated and read all this that I'm doubtful too and I pm'ed her about the reciept and she read it and did not replied. My Dh works hard for his money and I hate to think I squandered it.
