TRY TO HELP if you can - write your legislature - write your media - but don't let it take over your thoughts because it doesn't help. I really let it get to me a few years ago and obsessed about Puppy Mills - it's so frustrating to know all this and not be able to help.

and Stedmansmom - God Bless them is right - the dogs in the video are sadly....free - it's the thousands of dogs in mills and shelters that really need our prayers - they're still suffering at the hands of MAN.

If people don't SPAY AND NEUTER we'll never see this end. I wish the laws would change NOW.

I know exactly what you mean V...I know more about Puppy Mills and BYB's now than I ever have in my life - and now that I know, I tell EVERYONE...because believe it or not, ALOT of people do NOT know what a Puppy Mill is. Heck, even I didn't know what they were 3 years ago. I mean I honestly didn't. Which just totally AMAZES me now - because there is a whole whelp of information out there. As a matter of fact, my aunt - who is a HUGE dog lover...had never even HEARD of a Puppy Mill, and she is the ONE person I would have guessed knew everything about them - and she had no clue. And that's just it - so many people are clueless. Which leads them straight into the pet stores because they don't know any better.....and then I guess there are a few that just don't care - which is really sad

But I DO wish that people were more educated on this. Sadly, these things will probably never stop...and it just breaks my heart into a million pieces

I have very little faith in humanity as a whole...unfortunately this confirmed why. If we can do this to poor defenseless animals, then it must not be too much of a stretch to do this to a person or a group of people. Just think of the atrocities that are occuring right now to countless living beings. Makes me pissed and disgusted just thinking about it!

I summed up my courage to watch a little..until the gas chamber part and I couldn't go on....That is one of the reasons I prefer to adopt. I haven't bought one dog from pet store yet and I will never!!!!

I could not watch the video, I have been writing letters the last few weeks to everybody I can think of. My husband got really mad at me one night when I woke up crying from a nightmare and told me to take a break!
I ordered a puppymill t shirt for my teenagers and myself...good advertising for puppymills.... my daughter's friends have went online to order, (they are inexpensive) but people look at those shirts and get upset. They say they had no idea Nevada doesn't sell dogs or cats in pet stores.
I would like to see that nationwide!
I found the thread about the pet gas man.....I was crying by the end, what a horrible job. People need to wake up!
Has anybody heard about the sterilization shot that is supposed to be ready for pet use soon? It makes pets sterile without having surgery.

I also forced myself to watch and I cried the whole time, I just couldn't finish it. I'm so sensitive when I see thingsd like that, they don't get a chance to a good life and their so innocent and loyal. And then just to see them suffering like that, the gas chambers and the effects to the poision, when they were happily wagging their tails eating it, thinking it was good food, I can't, something has to be done!
