| Am i over reacting?? OK.. every year we have a thing at jeffs parents for christmas eve...well it was set for sunday ant noon about 3 WEEKS ago and had the menu as chilli.....than exverybody could bring whatever else they wanted..>WELL today i got an email from my SIL saying thats its on SAT. the 23rd at noon instead and shes making tater soup, jeffs mom is making chili and that we need to bring....bread, chips, 3-4 different kinds of lunch meat and pop for 16 PPL...now..i dont mind bringing stuff but doesnt that seem alittle unfair? Is is just me? maybe im ticked about the family thing but too me were bringing way more than our fair share....... |

| As I was reading your post, before I finished I was like "wow, you gotta bring a lot!" Then I read that that was your complaint. I don't think your over reacting at all. Besides, wasn't it originally to bring whatever you wanted to share?

| thats it.....thes 8 grand children than theirs jeffs parents, jeffs sister and her hubby, his brother and me and jeff. guess theirs 15. SIL is bringing tater soup and a dessert or something, jeffs mom is the chili and crackers and all that stuff and than im wioth everything else....I thought it was a bit much for me to bring all that stuff. Jeff said " god dang, does my sister want me to drive to her house and make the tater soup too?". LOLOL |

Soup and I KNOW chilli is not expensive to make (my mommy taught me how to make it!) If this is the case that your going to have to pay a lot more for food then they are, then it really is not right that they do this too you

| no they are not catered...i just have to go to the store but lunch meat from the deli is around 4-5 bucks a pound and i need atleast 3-4 pounds i think.. |
