| My Toe is Numb and I'm wondering... Ever since around 1:00pm today my small baby toe on my left foot has been going numb! I don't have any restrictive clothing on (just jammies!!) and I can't think of anything else. And it is JUST that pinkie toe and I haven't been sitting indian style or crosslegged or anything else that usually numbs my feet/legs. Anyone know what could be going on? I'm only 20 so I hope it's nothing too serious! haha

| If this is the first time this has happened, I wouldn't be too worried. If it continues or happens with other parts of you, I'd recommend you see a doctor. It's probably just an aggravated nerve, but it could also indicate a B12 deficiency, or a larger neurological problem. That's why I say if it gets worse you should get a doc to check you out. I'm not a doctor or anything - I've just got a few neurologic problems myself so I'm just telling you what I know. Hope you little toe just stops falling asleep on its own! |

| OKay, well my toe is still going numb, on and off, throughout the day. I looke dit up online and some websites say it may be related to diabetics? Noone in my family suffers from that-- so I'm not sure if that is what is causing it. COuld it be related to my self-diagnosed carpal tunnel? I've b een having pain up and down my right arm from the wrist to the shoulder. I'm stumped.... And a little freaked out! I don't want a numb toe forever! Anyone have any suggestions? Should I see a doctor about this?

| If your toes are still numb, I'd encourage you to see your doc. He can rule out b12 deficiency and diabetes pretty easily with some blood tests. I'm sending you a PM too. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My 21 year old niece called me last week, I worked in Health Insurance for 33 years so my family thinks I can diagnose them LOL, she was worried because her baby finger was numb and tingly and she was worried. I told her if it didn't get better in a day or so call her doctor. She also was having finals last week and maybe it is stress related. She said it is better now. I bet yours gets better soon.
