| I wrecked my car today!! OH JOY. Hit a slick spot and spun around even though I didn't hit the brakes and I went backwards over an embankment. I just kept praying the car wouldn't flip over. Salt truck came by 3 minutes afterwards and he gave me and my three year old a ride to the outpost so we could call for help and thankfully no one was hurt! And I didn't hit anything but the thorn bushes I ran over (uh, plowed down and put a new road through with my car) ripped off my brake lines and we think I might have tore a hole in the gas tank. It is at the car shop now getting an estimate on repairs to the underside. No body damage at all, so that was good. OH and no citations, so that means no fines, no fees nothing! Cop said Merry Christmas, have a great day! And that was that! They are bringing me a rental tomorrow so we won't be without transportation while my car is in the shop, so THAT is a good thing!

Donating YT 14K Club Member | So glad that no one was hurt! How scared you must have been. Something similar happened to us a few years ago...but it was raining. Spun around on I35 and went down overpass backwards and got stuck in the mud. Never been so scared in my life. Hang in there...you guys were very lucky!

| Thanks everyone. I am just glad that my son didn't get scared. He just sat in his carseat as calm as could be. Plus I don't think he was really aware of what was going on. He thought it was really cool that he got to ride in the salt truck though. LOL
