I'm so sorry about what's happening. At least she caught herself early on. My ex's sister was in a similar situation, except she'd been using for a long time. She dropped her son off at Grandpa's, and went to a rehab center- after my ex told her that if she didn't, he would call child protective services.

If you want anyone to talk to, please PM me. I've seen what you're seeing, and the best people to talk to are those who have experienced the same thing.

thank you for all your kind words and prayers , my daughter called last night to tell me that she is checking herself in rehab ,she misses he son and asked how he was doing ,she said that she wants me and my husband get have temporarly custody until she gets her life back on track ,i hope she means what she says ,

I am so sorry to hear your news. At least your daughter was able to recognize that she has a problem and came to you. It is a good thing she knew that her son need to be taken care of. I hope she gets the help that she needs and that she will make it through. Sorry to hear about your husband. Thank goodness he is alright. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God bless!!!

gosh i'm so sorry! i am in the exact same boat execept it's my sisternlaw. after 11 years of being married to my brother and having 4 beautiful children she decides that she wants to be single and party. my brother is going insane, he really loves her and this came as a huge shock to him and everyone in my family

she has been cheating on my brother for 1 month and just abandoned the kids.and went tto live with her boyfriend, my niece who is the eldest one out of the 4 children says that she does not want anything to do with her mom the ages of the kids are 10,8,7,3 so thier so small and i feel so bad because they need a mommy and it's like she doesn't even care. i couldn't imagine leaving my kids like that. and to top it all off she's now pregnant with this man's baby

i know, it's really bad. so my dad is going to take custody of the 2 older children and i might take custody of the baby and my mom is going to take the 7 yr old girl. i usually don't ever talk about my personal problems but i just thought that maybe i can be of some comfort for you letting you know your not alone. right now my poor brother is not stable at all he just totally fell apart and that's why were all stepping in with taking the kids. i truely hope that your daughter gets better and see's that precious baby and realizes how much he needs her, i know my nieces and nephews are really confused and sad it just breaks my heart. so i can imagine how you feel with it being your daughter. i am here for you in any way feel free to pm me anytime. may god be with your daughter and keep her safe.

jesscruz, your story is heartbreaking as well. I am so sorry to hear it. I will pray for you as well. It seems that sometimes people get caught up in there own selfish desires and they can't see how much they are hurting the people that love them. I want you and scrappysmom to know that you can always find people here who care! God Bless.
