| Designer / hybrid dogs Here is a cute quiz I found online which basically stresses a point I have made all along....designer hybrid dogs are just mutts with a pricey tag, your local shelter will be full of cross bred dogs and puppies.....so this Christmas if your getting a dog anyways..why not save a life and give the greatest gift of all! The instructions for the quiz are simple , put a dot under the picture you think represents the kennel dog and then the breeders dog. http://www.grumpybumpers.com/dogs/

| I got a 42%. Some of the designer dogs are adorable as puppies, but look not-so-cute as adults. |

| I couldn't agree more. I did get 57%, just luck. My son and daughter in law just bought a cavapoo! The mother is a king charles spaniel and the father is a min poodle! Price $950.00. He is adorable but can not be registered and is considered a mix! I don't know what people are thinking. Carol & Buddy |

| people are going to pay for what they want. 76% of americans prefer mutts over purebreds (per msn.com ). i want a morkie and once i find the perfect one, i will pay. sure there are mutts and purebreds in shelters but that is not what i am looking for. in my area, most shelter dogs are labs, lab/pitt mix, it seems like lab with something. also, they have been abused or not cared for and w a small child, i dont want to bring in a shelter dog to my home. i leave that to my parents and my brother who consistently get sheltered dogs. i dont want a large dog. i want a small dog. if ever there is a sheltered dog in my area that has a good termperament and is small, i will save it
