Donating YT 30K Club Member | When I'm home I have it at 68-70 depending on what I''m doing then when my husband comes home he jacks it up to 78. So then I have to open my bedroom window. We have ongoing thermostat wars. I walk by abd turn it down he walks by and turns it up. Goes on all winter. I'm always hot (menopause) and he's always cold (circulation problem)

| I usually set mine from 69-73. I'm predicting that I will set it higher this year since everyone keeps saying it will be a cold winter.

Yes we are well insulated and just put in all new windows throughout and a brand new roof this summer. LOL - A PIG is what holds our fuel oil. We live in the country and don't have gas hook up. Its a 1000 gallen tank that we own and get it filled once a year | |

If I run mine continously all day, I use one bag of pellets and they are 3.50 a bag. Much cheaper than natural gas...and I don't always use a whole bag a day...that is only if it is cold and I am home all day.
