| Giacamo wins the 131st Kentucky Derby! The race was awesome! a long shot 50-1 won the Derby. I wish I would have bet on him. He was the gray horse and they say the gray ones are fast. |

| It was indeed quite a race! I loved seeing him come from behind. The last stretch was spectacular to watch. Have you ever been to the Kentucky Derby? Yoda musta been a bit tired today, as he didn't really bark at the horsies on TV today. |

| We have horses next door to us and my sweet Gracie (RIP) thought it was her job to keep them on their side of the fence!!! She was so cute barking at them. Of course they just ignored her which made it cuter! Gosh I miss that baby!

| My parents heard that the horse that was given last place won, and the 1st pick was in 17th, there's probably going to be drug testing on the horses. Steroids aren't just used in baseball! |

| The race was great and I must confess ... a surprise. I have to admit that's not the one I thought would win! We were really pulling for Afleet Alex, for obvious reasons. Deep down I was hoping that Bandino would win! I wonder if the winner has two more wins in him?? Sure wanted a Triple Crown winner this year!!

| I loved Alex also because of the story, but I too was pulling for Bandini , he was just so pretty. I am however glad to see a long shot win, It is just magical when you see a dream come true for a long shot. I have been to Churchill Downs, but not the Derby. It is pretty hard to get tickets unless you want to go to the infield. I'm just not into all that crazieness anymore. There were so many stars intown, for the Derby Eve parties and of course the Derby it'self. It is so cool to see them on our local news. I would love to meet Kid Rock or Nick Lachey, Nelly was even here. The Downs are beautiful with new renovation that was completed this year,I love the smell of horses. Animals are just so wonderful. |
