I loved Alex also because of the story, but I too was pulling for Bandini , he was just so pretty. I am however glad to see a long shot win, It is just magical when you see a dream come true for a long shot.
I have been to Churchill Downs, but not the Derby. It is pretty hard to get tickets unless you want to go to the infield. I'm just not into all that crazieness anymore. There were so many stars intown, for the Derby Eve parties and of course the Derby it'self. It is so cool to see them on our local news. I would love to meet Kid Rock or Nick Lachey, Nelly was even here.
The Downs are beautiful with new renovation that was completed this year,I love the smell of horses. Animals are just so wonderful.
