| OH MY GOSH I am SO sorry I can't even BELIEVE THIS!!! You need to call administration and let them know this happened this is RIDICULOUS I had a teacher treat me this way when I was like 7, only I was throwing up, and she decided she didn't believe me. My mother ended up getting her fired because there had been previous reports. I'm so gladyour daughter is doing well! On my 1st day of my junior year at highschool I ended up passing out for no real reason except drinking and doing drugs. it was only like my 3rd class, and I felt really guilty because the girl sitting next to me was a freshmen and I had to ask her to walk me to the nurse! The nurse was amazing, I can't believe how well she treated me, even though I had sooo many school absences (if you are absent a lot they don't treat you very nicely), it took my mothe rlike 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there. She wanted to call the hospital but I was like "noo!" I can't believe this happened I really am in like shock I urge you to do something and talk to the principal, if he doesn't do anything, take it up with the administrative offices (idk if your district has this) |

| I would be pissed! And dont think I wouldn't be calling the superindent also! I have had trouble with the schools not giving my children breakfast or lunch-AND THEY WERE ON FREE MEALS! I was irate! I called and let me just tell you they dont really care for me now! I get angry because we trust our children in their care and some idiots feel that some kids just make up stuff for the heck of it! So yes I would take further action!

| So sorry your daughter had to go through this!! Hope she is better now. I hope they reprimand the nurse. I'd be calling the principal, superintendent, and every single person on the school board. That nurse needs to go before she actually kills someone.

| That's really messed up. Especially the fact that you said to call 911, then they shouldve, no matter what they thought. I'm glad your daughter is doing OK. Theres really no other words to describe that nurse, except is she even a real RN? What an idiot!

| omg!!! Yeah I don't think I'd let this one down. I have asthma and I know what it feels like. It feels like your fighting for your last breath and your lungs feel like they shrink to the size of a pea........I am so sorry she had to go through this. When you are having an attack you cannot even think straight....so for that nurse to make her go to her car and send her back to gym.....very lucky she was not worse. Hopefully your daughter will grow out of this- I had attacks bad when I was younger and I rarely have one now. You defiantly need to speak with the principal. |

| I met with the principal, and he listened to everything I said, and was taking notes... even stopped me to make sure he got it all... He had a meeting with the head of the fire and rescue right after me to talk to people out side of the school system and find as much out as he could. I saw the chef of fire and rescue witing when I left... The principal told me he would be talking to my daughter and to the gym teachers and the other people involved... He was not happy. He even said why not be on the side of caution. He would rather call rescue and have them say theres no emergency then to have one arise because of waiting... I am not planning legal action. My daughter is doing great today and we see the doctor to day after school. If she had lasting effects from this I would be looking into legal action but that is not necessary. I think the nurse is in trouble, and she is a nice PERSON but nutty when it comes to making decissions. I feel bad for her, we all make mistakes but when it comes to the well being and health of childen there is a responsibility to do what is right and she kinda blew it! I hope she learns from this... I wouldn't want to be her! Thanks for all your concern, it feels good to vent a little and have others agree with you! Your all so great to talk with!

| First, I'd just like to say I'm very glad your daughter is ok. I also have asthma, so I know how quickly the situation can go from bad to worse. I'm just glad you got there when you did!! You very well may have saved her life!! Second, I'd RAISE HELL!! Get names and documetn everything. This is totally unacceptable -- your daughter could have died. I know it's awful to even imagine, but it very well could have happened! This nurse deserves to be severely reprimanded and if it were up to me, fired.
