| Anyone had their boobs done??? I am thinking of getting mine done.... Not quite what you are thinking.... No Pam Anderson, Dolly Parton dreams here! Infact I think I have the two of them beat naturally! I want mine reduced and lifted. I am done with the back aches and the constant attention that they seem to get me... I would like to shop for shirts and be able to look at button downs and not have to worry about stressing the buttons... its sad that they don't make clothes for fuller busted women, but they don't... so off they must go! Have any of you done it?? Hubby and I have discussed it and we have agreeded that this years Tax return is going to pay for the sugery. So I am so doing it!! We talked with a few docters a few years ago and have decided on two taht we like, so we think we know who we want... But I am having a VERY hard time with one detail.... I am an E now... Although I stuff myself into a DDD cause thats as high as most dept stores carry, even our Saks does not have and E in stock. UGH! So I have the decision of going to a D or a full C. I have been told that a C would make buying clothes much easier... But I have never paid much attention to girls breasts before.... What do you all think??? is C still a nice full and sexy size??? Or is D better??? I just don't know??? What should I do??? I just can't picture either on me???? I only have a couple of months to decide.. and short of stoping women on the street and asking what their cup size is... I don;t know how to figure it out! Any advice! This is a majot life changing experiance! I don't want to make the wrong decision.... I just want as much imput as possable. In ihe end I know its my decision, but I need input! Thanks guys!

| I say go for a C. C is a lot bigger than a lot of people realize. Don't go for a D because, as you may know now, you won't be able to shop at Victoria's Secret (BEST STORE EVER!!! ) I've had a full C cup since I was 14 and I find that the Victoria's Secret C is actually a B and their D's only come in a few sizes. Lately I've lost some weight and mind have gone down to a smaller C, so I'm able to shop there more. My mom had breast reduction done, she had large D's at the time. Her bras were leaving streaks in her shoulders really deep, and it hurt her back. If you do get it, just make sure you take it easy! My mom didn't and the next day she was back in the hospital with a blood clot, so they had to tube her and she was on bedrest for a week. |

| Go for it! I probably would go for a full c. They aren't too small and you can get nice sexy cleavage. I have double d's now and would LOVE to get mine reduced. I guess I am just a chicken. I had d's when I was a teen and you still have to shop hard to find pretty bras and still got back aches. If I was going through the expense and trouble of the surgery I would want something I don't think I have ever had ,C"S. If you have had lots of back problems and seen drs. over this some insurances will pay for the surgery, at least that is what my gynechologist said. I would love to hear more about what they do and recovery, as I have not seen any doctors about getting it done, but have considered it. It would be so great to have nice smaller, perky boobs, and can you imagine not wearing a bra when you go out!! I think I would go braless all the time. I feel I have been wearing a bra since birth,LOL!

| Maybe you could check out some websites in relation to breast reduction surgery. My friend had a breast augmentation and did a lot of research on the topic. She had mentioned that there were tonnes of before and after pics which show the results of the surgery. Maybe that will help.

My furkids Donating Member | I know of a young girl that just had this done...her insurance paid for it. She was getting really bad headaches, neck aches and back aches...Why won't your insurance pay? Also, I am a D and have no problem at all finding bra's or shirts....I don't think you would have a problem with a D....and being an E...a D is going to seem small. JMO

| I did exactly what you are wanting to do (reduction and implants) last December and all I can tell you is go for it!! You will not regret it for a second and will forever wonder why you didn't do it sooner!! Besides the size (which a surgeon can recommend best depending on your height, weight, structure) the most important thing to research is the doctor and his/her history. Make sure you ck with your local bbb as well as research their affiliations and certifications. It was easy for me since I would say most of not all my friends have had some type of surgery done (we live in Miami) and my surgeon was highly recommended. Get a consult with least 2 doctors and ask them questions, questions, questions? I think I bore mine stiff with all crazy questions...they understand this is a major thing you are doing and they expect that. Please feel free to PM me if you need any info or if I can help you with anything.

| I would definitely check with your insurance 1st. Get letters from your family doctor & a chiropracter that your boobs are contributing to health problems. Right before my wedding my parents looked into having my boobs reduced while I was on there insurance. They said the insurance wouldn't cover it because I wasn't having enough ounces taken out. But I only wanted to go from a Large D to a nice C. I would think going from an E to a C would be a lot of ounces so at least check it out. Also I think the size you wanna go would depend on your size around. I am a 32DD (I wear a 34D) & my boobs look huge on me. However, if I was bigger around they wouldn't look so big because a 34D is equivolent to a 36C. Do you see what I'm saying?

| My sister had a breast reduction surgery done when she was 16 It was very critical though. She was injuring her back(she still has some pain from the injuries uptil now and she's 25) and hurting her spine, she couldn't walk a lot or run without being in constant pain. She was a size 8 in clothing and a 38 triple E and that was her bra minimizer sizeAfter the surgery she was in pain for about a week and couldn't move much, but after then she was fine. Also, her scars were very thin and lightened up every year. Having a large chest runs in my family, we call it the big boobie curse
