We either cook or we order a smoked turkey from Bobacious Dicks. You get turkey green beans macaroni and cheese and something else then I just make other sides. Most of our Thanksgivings it is just me My Husband My 6 yr old daughter and sometimes my 22 yr old son. we usd to go out of town for Thanksgiving but I dont think we are this year

I may get off a little early, but since I work a 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. shift, it won't mean a home-cooked turkey dinner! But I'm used to it. I do miss sitting around a big table with friends and family, though.

I make everything from appetizer through dessert and normally I throw a party for Christmas as my mom's birthday falls on christmas day. But for this year, I am doing Thanksgiving as christmas will be spent in SFO. I love entertaining but has been on halt since I started sewing so am thrilled to take a break and host this year's thanksgiving.

Our family usually takes a side and a dessert, both to my Parents & to my In-Laws. The big problem is sharing this day with both families. I don't look foward to it. Someone usually ends up sad.

Yeah, the company puts out anything from a deli tray to a small buffet, so I don't go hungry, that's for sure.

I cook. We have a large family. They stress me out when everyone is together for a few days. Since, we trade between my sister and I due to are location, I always take Thanksgiving (not everyone shows up for it, but they all show up for Christmas)

Hopefully, none of them get on the website and see this. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but since it is only my DH and I, adding 12 people for 3-4 days is stressful.

Mom always cooked but we lost her to lung cancer 5 years ago and I have since been the designated "gramdma" to take over the cooking.
