| I've been known to get up before the crack of dawn to get teh "toy of the year" when my daughter was younger, but now, I really don't get up that early, if I even go on the day after Thanksgiving. My DH says he would rather pay the higher price than fight the crowds. My MIL goes every year, calls me every year on this day before 5am, to see if I want to go w/ her. I have some friends (husband and wife) that go together each year and last year, they said they saved over $500 on what they bought.

| Nope, never. I don't like crowds of people so saving all the money in the world isn't worth it to me.

| Not me -- the money saved is not worth the crowds, lines, and craziness. I am going to do most of my shopping online this year. I have been doing more and more online each year. If you shop early, there are usually a lot of free shipping deals. When I was younger the crowds and atmosphere was exciting -- I am getting older now and need to stay out of the way -- hehehe....

| My husbands sisters and their daughters go every year. But not me. There is nothing I want that bad to go and fight a bunch of people for. Basically I hate Christmas shopping in general so I try to make it as painless as possible by going in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. Merchants plays us fools like a fine tuned fiddle. They know just how to suck as much money out of us as possible. My guess is, those that go for those great door buster specials end ujp spending more than they would if they went when there wasn't all the frenzy. It's a clever Marketing ploy to get everyone up early to do their shopping before their commen sense wakes up and kicks in and tells them to get their butts home and back in bed. LOL |

| My bf and I search all the ads and make our list. We get up pretty early and then we go hit all of the stores with items of interest. Some years we have better luck than others.

| I have a couple of times in the past but, only because some of the things that the kids wanted for christmas happen to be on sale for a great price. I doubt if I will this year. But, who knows. I haven't decided yet. Have to wait and see what they have on sell and how cold it is. We will be in VA that's where we go every year for Thanksgiving.

Me too. I've already got most of Ethan's and I just got in online Friday. Most of what I got him was the same price but there was no S&H so I paid about the same for it as I would have at the store. Of course his stocking stuffers and a few other things that he wants I will be getting from Wal-Mart. At least now I don't have to be in a big hurry I can just get it when I get it.
