For the pres. in 2008 though, I am banking on McCain...he is a middle-of-the-aisle person that I think we need. In all honesty, I just want someone that can even put up a facade of intelligence! As for the republican government that we've had in so far, well...good riddance. Once they are sworn in, you will see a turnaround in this country very quickly. I, for one, am a Republican and a huge Bush fan. He is a good person. He is a Christian. Every single person on his cabinet is a Christian. He is only doing what he thinks is best for America. Yes, he has made mistakes, but so has EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT! There have been good and bad Presidents from BOTH parties, democrat and republican alike. Bush has done a fantastic job of defending our country against subsequent terrorist attacks. He inherited an economy that was in a BAD recession and then 9/11 came. Give him a break. atleast republican bush wasnt caught doing naughty things with his interns and impeached. whats that say for democrats! war is bad yes BUT im sorry ppl in the military made a oath to protect and serve Thats THEIR JOB. you dont really see none of them bitching and whining. Bush doesnt put up with any crap. some things he does could be handles alittle more tactfully but after 9/11 he took action and thats what a PRESIDENT is suppose to do.
