Oh, my goodness! I'm glad Maddie is ok! That is scary to think about, so just don't think about it. Be thankful that she wasn't on the treadmill and forget about it. (But move the treadmill before you let her get on it again!!)

Wow! What a miracle that Maddie wasn't on the treadmill! I am glad everything (except your picture) is okay & you and Maddie are safe & sound!

Oh Connie, I am glad Maddie is okay. Remember I had a close call with Starsky getting hit by a car and he turned out okay, but I know the feeling you are feeling. Your Maddie and my Starsky are running into the same weird stuff lately. I am sure you are oh so thankful she wasn't on the treadmill.

Does she walk on the treadmill on a regular basis? If so how did you get her to do that? Just wondering.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. Believe me...if I ever get that picture back together, it will NOT go back up in that spot. I plan on putting something lightweight in that area, because I won't ever trust hanging a heavy picture there again!

Leigh...Maddie was scared to death of the treadmill and would just keep her distance and bark at me when I walked on it. I even carried her when I walked, to make her less scared, but that didn't help. Then I saw on the Dog Whisperer, that you're supposed to introduce them to it when it's not running so they get somewhat used to it. So, one day when my grandkids were here to help, we gave it a try and instead of Maddie putting her brakes on, she started walking and has been walking on it ever since. I think she really likes it. She usually walks 10-15 minutes a day and I'm right there with her holding the leash in case something happens.

that is too funny! So she gets her daily work out! Does she let you know when she wants to do it? I know Starsky gets his work out by running all over the back yard, squirrel, bunny and bird hunting. Not to mention barking at the next door neighbors dogs! And Shylah does a lot of chasing Starsky!
