Thanks everyone for your nice comments. Believe me...if I ever get that picture back together, it will NOT go back up in that spot. I plan on putting something lightweight in that area, because I won't ever trust hanging a heavy picture there again!
Leigh...Maddie was scared to death of the treadmill and would just keep her distance and bark at me when I walked on it. I even carried her when I walked, to make her less scared, but that didn't help. Then I saw on the Dog Whisperer, that you're supposed to introduce them to it when it's not running so they get somewhat used to it. So, one day when my grandkids were here to help, we gave it a try and instead of Maddie putting her brakes on, she started walking and has been walking on it ever since. I think she really likes it. She usually walks 10-15 minutes a day and I'm right there with her holding the leash in case something happens. |
