Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sad right now I just got home from having my mammogram and I got a call that my Brother in law was found dead yesterday in his apartment. He just turned 57 and lives in Colorado. He died in his sleep they think on Friday. He was a lifelong alcoholic who had just gone 4 months sober. He was a kind and caring person but just couldn't get his life together. My husband's dad died a year ago and so now he is all that is left of his family. I feel so bad I talked to Dale, my BIL every week as his girlfriend left him 1 1/2 years ago after living together for 18 years. He really had nobody. Now I am trying to make the arrangements and I think we will have to fly out there. I am afraid to fly and I am afraid to leave Cali with my dtr. I am hoping we can handle a lot of things from here and fly in for one long day. Thanks for listening.

| Hugs to you Patti. I'm sorry for the loss. I know how hard it is. My uncle (dads brother) became an alcoholic after his mentally unstable wife committed suicide and left him and 3 very young kids behind. 15 Years later it's like he's getting worse. He has no one that respects him other than my mom. He lives in Australia, so it's hard to be there for him. I undestand how you must be feeling, but just try your best to take care of yourself and your husband. God will be taking care of your BIL now, and he is at peace.

| my thoughts are with you Quote:
My condolences on your loss! What an awful thing to have to deal with ... I am hoping you can take care of all this so your husband can grieve properly .... How old is your daughter? If she is 18+ she should be able to handle it for a few days .... I am so sorry to hear all this ... Peace! Debbie
