Not sure how many people are still keeping up with Chopsticks progress so I thought I would post this link. The just did an update 11-30-06.

That's great to get a good update!! I know she will get a great home to live out her life they way she deserves.

I still dont understand the fusing thing? Is this good? bad? Will she be able to use that leg?

I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I had the option of having one of my thumb joints fused (I opted out, for now). The way it was explained to me is while that particular joint would no longer operate, it would make it easier on the rest of the thumb and hand, and I'd still have full use of my thumb.
