I know this is probably standard for them to say but I got an email from my donation and the line that I put in red made me really really sad

I dont knwo what I am going to do if she doesnt make it through surgery or recovery. I feel like I already know and love her like she is one of my own. I am so ready for Monday to be over!

Yea this is really sad I can't imagine how someone could hurt such a precious baby

Same here!! She is so precious and has had to go thur so much....I have fallen in love with her too.....We will just have to get everyone praying for her Monday....

I agree--it made me really sad too.....but I think they just want to make sure every one understands that just because they have the money needed for the surgery....doesn't mean she is out of the woods yet.

But.....I just LOVE her little picture that was attached to the reply. That made me smile...big time!!!

Yea that's what I figured my heart sunk but like you seeing her picture made me feel better she is such a sweet baby.

I can't believe it!!!! Enough to pay for her surgery, and lots of donations since, as well. What an absolute answer to an impossible prayer this must seem like to the shelter!!!

Since I posted the original thread about Chopstix here, I feel like I need to thank each and every one of you, many times over, for your generosity to her. I just knew that she captured my heart when I read her story, but I never imagined that so many would adopt her cause.

Well, we've all seen what we can do when we put our MONEY together...now let's see what we can do when we put our PRAYERS together!!!

I was looking at this, and you were wondering what state Chopstix is in? Its Mobile AL, same city I live in, and matter of fact, their home address is in MY zip code too!

I tried looking up in the phone book, but they must be unlisted. Was going to take a donation to them. I just don't like showing up at anyones house unannounced. I looked on a good Mobile map, and know "about" where the street is.

only.... I wish there were NO Cruel people in the world and there would never be a need for this kind of thing. How anyone can hurt something that just wants our love is beyond my comprehension.
