| Tempurpedic or Posturpedic? We are moving in 7 weeks and thinking of buying a new and comfy bed. We heard that tempurpedic is a great bed. we tried it once at the store, and we fall in love with it, but our friend just got posturpedic bed and she told us, that it's better BC it doesnt' make you too hot when you sleep. So what You guys think? does anyone of You own one of those beds? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

| I have a posturpedic bed topper that is 5 inches thick and I don't know if its me(age, hot flashes) but I wake up every morning burning up...I love it so much that I don't want to take it off, but it does get hot, it may be great this winter waiting to see...Good Luck!!! Let me know what you get and if you like it, I am going to get a new mattress soon and it will be interesting to see what you think.....

| Sorry! I didn't see this post till this evening. I have a tempurpedic bed - I don't know what a posturpedic bed is so I can't comment on it. I absolutely love love love my tempurpedic bed. It is soooooo comfy. My hubby and I both have mega trouble sleeping for a variety of reasons - but we sleep soooo much better on this bed. Both of us have found relief from chronic back, shoulder, and neck pain. One other great thing about it is that my hubby is an EXTREMELY restless sleeper and on this bed, I cannot feel him squirming around at all. I think the commercial where the person is jumping up and down and the glass of wine doesn't spill is absolutely true. I do think that the tempurpedic mattress is warmer than conventional mattresses, but again, this works to our benefit. My husband has a circulation problem and he is always cold in bed - he even sleeps with an electric blanket on his feet in the summer - in Texas! But he is much more comfortable and not as cold in this bed. I just put a fan directly on me and I don't find that I am hotter than usual - but I know some people find the mattress too warm for their tastes. The great thing about the tempurpedic (and most mattresses) is that you have a 90 day trial period where you can send it back. My daughter had friends who absolutely hated their tempurpedic and the company came right out and took it back, no problems. I don't think you can go wrong with the tempurpedic - but then I don't know what a posturpedic bed is???

| We tried out both when we went bed shopping last weekend. My husband loved it. To me, I want to be able to jump on a bed and bounce And posturpetic and tempurpetic beds don't bounce... We also heard those beds can get really hot... Plus we weren't willing to pay the extra money for it...

| We went to a Radisson last weekend and slept on a Sleep Number! At first it felt weird, but we surely slept well, and woke up with NO pain!

Yes, sleep number beds are also an option - we tried one (in the store), but chose the tempurpedic because it was more comfortable for us. My hubby's aunt and uncle have a sleep number bed and just love it. There are many options out there!
