Bettye - just seen this and I'm so sorry that Patrick is ill - must be awful for you as you don't know anyone! Hope he is out of hospital and back with you and Toto very soon. Poor Toto....! Please update us when you can ok? I'm not on here much now, the forum has got far too big for me but I'll check in later. Please take care and best wishes to Patrick for a speedy recovery. I want to thank everyone for your kind thoughts & prayers for Patrick. We still don't know exactly what caused this and it doesn't have a name. All we know for certain is that we are all home as of last night and Toto is one happy little girl!!! It appears that it could be one of his BP medications has been very slowly depleting his potassium since his level was even lower yesterday than it was in the beginning! They have that back up to a normal level and I can tell that he feels much, much better!

It was frightening when the doctor told me yesterday that he was much sicker than even he suspected! I really didn't need to hear that. Hopefully we will hear today from the last couple of tests they did yesterday afternoon and everthing will soon be back to normal. We love our doctor here ... one of those who makes himself comfortable ... explains everything and answers all your questions ... we will have a "follow-up" in his office next week.

Again, thank you all for everything ... you just don't know how much you all mean to us!!

I just now read your post and I felt such worry reading it all....Then I read your updated post and relieved to hear he is home with you and Toto now.

Happy Anniversary from Schatzie and me and we wish Patrick rest and comfort while he get's his strength back.

I just posted a thread about how bad my day was because my car broke down... but your day is so much worse.. I am so, so very sorry. I know how you feel when you say that your scared because your alone, so are my husband and I.. we have nobody out here.

I hope your husband is okay, and I will pray for him also! I hope everything works out. And Happy Anniversary! He is very lucky to have such a wonderful woman for a wife!

I just read about what happened on your anniversary! Hugs to you and yours! I will be praying for Patrick and you also...It is so physically and mentally draining to have someone near and dear in ill health! Maddie sends kisses to all of you!
