I want to thank everyone for your kind thoughts & prayers for Patrick. We still don't know exactly what caused this and it doesn't have a name. All we know for certain is that we are all home as of last night and Toto is
one happy little girl!!! It appears that it could be one of his BP medications has been very slowly depleting his potassium since his level was even lower yesterday than it was in the beginning! They have that back up to a normal level and I can tell that he feels much, much better!
It was frightening when the doctor told me yesterday that he was much sicker than even he suspected! I really didn't need to hear that. Hopefully we will hear today from the last couple of tests they did yesterday afternoon and everthing will soon be back to normal. We love our doctor here ... one of those who makes himself comfortable ... explains everything and answers all your questions ... we will have a "follow-up" in his office next week.
