| This site sounds very International.!!! As I am new here..I was wondering where you all live. It seems a very International gathering..so to speak. I live in the U.K. in the heart of the Midlands region. Its a lovely part of the country though...we get a mixed bag of weather over here..lots of lovely countryside..especially around our Peak District and Lake District. There are many Yorkie owners over here..some very well known for Breeding quality yorkies...there is always someone with pups for sale. We even went up to Scotland once to see some pups...that was sure a long trip for a pup though.! A lot of people I know say that once they have had a Yorkie they wouldn't have anything else..I know that is sure true.... We once owned a Border Collie for a while but Yorkies are so cute . Wouldn't be without mine. So..yep I'm being nosey I guess..where do you all come from then??

| There's a couple of people from Spain, and lots from all over the USA. It's good to know that the Internet can bring Yorkie owners from all over the world together to share Yorkies stories and information. I live in Seattle, WA (and yes, it's raining today), lots of Yorkie owners around here! |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk, Chrisann!! We are from Alabama which is in the deep South! We also have a member of our forum who lives in Wales! She has been having computer problems and hasn't been able to log in ... but I feel certain she will be back soon. We have a great forum for talking about our Yorkie babies and sharing ideas and resolving problems! Hope you enjoy it here!

| Hi Chrisann! I live in Maine, the easternmost and northernmost state in the U.S. It has a lovely rocky coastline, thousands of beautiful lakes (I live on one!), and very pretty mountains. We have millions of acres of trees, many thousands of moose, 23,000 black bears (more bears than any other state in the lower 48), and we are well known for our delicious Maine Lobsters. Mainers talk funny -- we don't use "R"s -- so we call it lobstah and we dip it in melted buttah! Yummmmm. I've had many dogs of different breeds in my lifetime, and even showed English Setters (Laverack type) many years ago. But being owned by a Yorkie is a unique and wonderful experience! Our little Higgins, now 9 months old, is the greatest joy in our lives! Welcome to YorkieTalk! Just think....if the leaders of the world all got together on YorkieTalk, and talked about their dogs, we might not ever have another war! I like peacful international meeting places! |
