Hi Chrisann! I live in Maine, the easternmost and northernmost state in the U.S. It has a lovely rocky coastline, thousands of beautiful lakes (I live on one!), and very pretty mountains. We have millions of acres of trees, many thousands of moose, 23,000 black bears (more bears than any other state in the lower 48), and we are well known for our delicious Maine Lobsters. Mainers talk funny -- we don't use "R"s -- so we call it lobstah and we dip it in melted buttah! Yummmmm.
I've had many dogs of different breeds in my lifetime, and even showed English Setters (Laverack type) many years ago. But being owned by a Yorkie is a unique and wonderful experience! Our little Higgins, now 9 months old, is the greatest joy in our lives!
