| We did Carnival too, it was during the hurricanes so instead of going to the Caymans/ Mexico we went to Bahamas/ Mexico, I loved it. My dream destination in my life was to go to Atlantis and by fluke our cruise ended up going to Nassau which is where Atlantis is in the Bahamas. The Carnival cruise we went on was very 70s/80s style but very cheap for 5 days (300 US) and we even got a cruise credit of $100 due to changing ports because of the hurricanes. Carnival also has added a few nice ships now that are gorgeous. They also say that if you leave from Miami or the weekend cruises seem to attract the young ones too. The other cruise lines are more luxurious but you get what you pay for. Have fun! |
