It's not to bad when they are younger , but when the teenage years hit its way harder because then we have to be secret police and find out what they are doing Plus when they are teens they want MORE MORE MORE. When they are young they could care less if they are wearing Kmart My 15 year old is a PRINCESS and takes me BROKE!!!!!!! My hubby has a decent job but with all the kids it's not worth me working.... I would LOSE money going to work. All I can say is if you want lots of kids be prepared to GIVE UP lots unless you have money. Oh yeah and don''t even DREAM of a vacation or retirement, or a new car or EVER being caught up on bills Oh yeah... or SLEEP ON THE GOOD SIDE.. There is always lots of hugs and kisses

Mine are 15 months apart. My son Brittin is 13 and my daughter Sabrina is 12. This was not planned. But it worked out for the best. They are best friends. My sister and I are the only children. She is 9 years older than me. She is my best friends now. But we barely new each other growing up. I think closer is better.

My boys are 3 years apart. I wanted them 2, but when first son was 1 and it would be time to start trying, I was like, NO!!! I can't handle two right now!!! It was the right choice for me. Now if my second son had been born first, they would have only been born 2 years apart because he was so easy to get along with. I wouldn't have had the same reservations about brining another baby into the picture. I love the difference in ages, it's perfect for us.

My boy and girl are 22 months apart. After being married 14 yrs we decided to start a family. I was afraid my eggs would dry up!............so we had both close.......lol. I had my girl at 35, my boy at 37. Its quite the challenge, I was used to doing what I wanted when I wanted, NO more of that! You make alot of sacrifices for your kids, money, time, they come first and its totally worth it. I have more patience then I ever had before!! I think if I was to change anything I would have had them further apart and had them at a younger age. They have lots of energy, where my energy level doesnt compare. But I think when they are older I will be so glad I had them close in age. My son is hard to handle, hes two, weighs 72 lbs and every few people can pick him up. Its hard to find a babysitter........lol If I would have started earlier I think I would have had 3 children, but spaced further apart. For those of you who have 4 to more kids...........YOU GO GIRL!......hahaha. I definitely would not be cut out for that........Im just in awe of those who can manage so many kiddos.

DANG, yorkieangle, haven't you figured out what causes kids yet? Just kidding, my aunt had 10 kids - 13 years between oldest and youngest!!!. I loved going to their house - always someone to play with. As for me, there are 15 years between my 2 daughters. 32 and 17. I have 3 stepchildren also, 35, 29, and 27.

My son will be about 4.5 years old when the baby is born. It's supposed to be a girl so cross your fingers! So far I LOVE that I waited. My son got lots of special one on one time during what I feel were the most important years of his life.(I've always heard that you make or break a child by five.) He's so smart and such a great kid. He's also SO helpful. He helps pick stuff up which is great because it's getting hard to bend over. I also couldn't imagine changing two sets of diapers at the same time. It has also been easier for us financially. I do worry a little bit about how well the kids will play together since they don't have much in common but I'm sure that he'll love her anyways.

Three years a part worked for me...I was born Oct 17th, my first girl was born Nov 17th and the second was due Sept 17th..she came on the 30th, I should have known then she would always be a "free thinker"... Did anyone see the TV show with the mom who had 3 sets of twins under 3 year of age..then one had two sets of triples under 3..they would have had to force me out the hospital door to leave...

| Mine are 18 months apart. Not planned. Since hitting their teens they pretty much hate each other. Both girls. I was hoping they would be better friends, maybe when they are older.
