I saw his picture on nytimes website this morning, and I thought wow that guy looks creepy before even reading the captions. What a sick sick sick person. I am so glad the authorities in Thailand are cooperating in his transfer to the States. Times said that it would take months to exrtadite him, but Thailand is just expelling the guy, so he will come to U.S within a week.
I still cannot understand how a person can be so perverted. Why? How?

He is just messed up in the mind. Some kind of chemical imbalance. I'm SURE that since he confessed, his attorneys are going to push for a "mentally incompetant" or "insane" defense. Hey, it got Andrea Yates off the hook....

Thats the problem with most of these police departments, once they focus on someone, (like her parents) they ignore all the other evidence. I'm so tired of them doing this and the media don't help they make everyone think what they think and everyone jumps on the bandwagon, yelling the Ramsey's did it. The Ramsey's did not even get to grieve for their daughter because everyone kept calling them killers. The police department needs to do their work before they start pointing fingers at people.

Heck Naw, he isn't messed up in the mind. He applied for a teaching job just 2 days ago, so Mark Karr is in his right state of mind. I am not one for the DP, but in this case with Felony 1st degree murder, 1st degree murder, kidnapping, and sexual assult, and child molestation...Anything short of DP, or life in Prison in a cell with a 6'5 380lb man who got locked up trying to feed his Kids(I'd pay to watch that)!

Also Andrea Yates is CRAZY, and the Prosecuters witness lied, and blew the first trial....

This guy KNEW exactly what he did and he enjoyed it. He enjoyed raping that little 6 year old baby and he enjoyed killing her. He took pleasure from her pain -- the sick bastard probably smiled when it was all over. He deserves to suffer the way she suffered in the last few minutes of her life. Imagine being an innocent little 6 year old girl. Someone kidnaps you, tears off your clothes, violently rapes you, then bashes your head and strangles you ... can you imagine the FEAR and PAIN she must have felt in those last few minutes of her life? How terrified she must have been? I can only imagine how she must have cried and begged him to stop hurting her. Just thinking about it makes me SICK to my stomach.

There is NO justice here ... not when this disguasting pig got to live freely all these years, was able to eat delicious food, travel, walk on the beach, feel the sunshine on his face - just everything in a normal life!! And this poor baby was not able to experience anything at all because she is dead. This bastard doesn't deserve to take 1 more breath!! He is revolting and disgusting and I pray he gets what he truly deserves!

Sorry to be so long winded but ANY crimes against children, animals and the elderly REALLY upset me because they are defenseless. Only a true coward would attack someone who can't fight back.

She died on june (ovarian cancer).She was only 49. So much tragedy in this family.

If this is the case, how do you explain the unknown (well, now it's known) DNA in their house? That DNA matches this suspect that's in custody.

When JonBenet was found murdered..the Ramsey's were tried and convicted in the media, and through the Colorodo DA's office, simply because nobody(the public) didn't know much or anything at all about child beauty pagents. So, no matter what some will always believe the Parents, or the son did it.

I couldn't imagine losing a child like this. This man deserves exactly what he gets and then some. I totally agree with you. He is a pervert. It's hard to believe it's been almost 10 years. Ethan was only 6 months old when this happened. I still remember when it first broke I was in VA at my parents.

Actually they have DNA under her fingernails and her underwear but they haven't yet tested it to see if it matches Karr's DNA. That will be the next thing they do because sickos like this will confess to get publicicty for a crime they may not have committed. Though I believe he did it, I still believe her parents (at least one of them) were somehow involved. You can't overlook the fact that her mothers handwriting matched the writing of the ransom note and that everything used on JonBennet was from the house: the paint brush that was used to sexually abuse her, the rope, the blanket, the tape, even the pen and paper on which the ransom note was written. I'm glad he confessed but I still feel the parents are involved.

This case had a huge impact on me. I Prayed for this little girl every night for many years. I had the magazine clippings in my dorm room 2 years after her death. I always Prayed they would find her killer. I find myself crying when I think abotu what that sick f***k did to her (and what other children like her go through). But I am a person who deeply trusts my instincts and feel so connected to this case, probably because I worked at a news station and we worked on this case. But either way, I trust my gut, I still feel the parents are somehow involved, I'm not fooled by this confession or her fathers phony statements. There was evidence that JonBennet had previously been sexually abused, prior to her death, and there were old bruises in areas that a child wouldn't normally get them. Working at the news station, you see a lot of gruesome pictures that can't be shown on TV. I had also seen Lacy Peterson's pictures since we worked on that case as well.

This country has a backwards justice system. Someone who rapes and kills deserves to die, but for some reason people feel the death penalty is inhumane?! That' stupid. I have no problem killing these pigs and deleting them from our society, PERMANENTLY! He and others like him should die JUST like how JonBennet and all of those other kids died.

Patsy Ramsey died June 24th and you know dang well she has been HAUNTING him nonstop,, hence why he has confessed.
If anyone did that to my child, you can bet your ass I would haunt him till the day he died.

According to news reports, before her death, he confessed to Patsy about killing JonBennet. Now doesn't it seem odd that she didn't tell anyone before she died??? If someone had killed my baby, I would be on his as* like white on toast. Hence further convicing me of her mothers involvement.

"In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, John Mark Karr said that he contacted JonBenet's mother, Patsy, before she died of cancer in June to express his remorse for the killing.

"I conveyed to her many things, among them that I am so very sorry for what happened to JonBenet," Karr said as U.S. and Thai authorities escorted him from his Bangkok hotel, where he spent over an hour packing his belongings.

Karr said it was his understanding that Patsy Ramsey read letters that he sent to her. He said JonBenet's death was "an accident."
