| Girl, I am so jealous. You look great. My husband freaks out everytime I talk about getting a reduction because he says they "butcher" your boobs. I guess he's seen a few! Anyway.......can you tell me about your incisions and what you expect as far as scarring? |

My incisions are not that bad. I was surprised as to how far they go. One under each boob to almost underneath my arm pits, the incision from the nipple down to underneath the breast. I already know that it's going to take a few months for them to fade but, as soon as the incisions heal really well I'm going to start putting some of the scar therapy cream on them. They have already faded quite a bit under my arms. My husband checks them everyday and he says they are looking very good. Tell yours the same thing I told mine. He can learn to live with it or not he's not the one carrying them around so it's not up to him. I also told him I didn't care whether he got use to them or not. My husband can't wait until I completely heal up. He now says that I'm going to have the breast of a 20 year old. Nice & firm which I never have been.

Wow. I had my gallbladder out a couple of years ago as well. The only stitches that I have found are ones around my nipples and a few that were on the inside. He closed the incisions with surgical glue and tape. I removed the tape after 5 - 7 days. If you really want or need to have it done I would talk to a plastic surgeon and explain what happened with your gallbladder and maybe there is something else they can use. I'm also treating an open wound right now but, I haven't had to pack it I've had to keep it moist. Hopefully it's almost better. My doc said that the bigger the reduction, the bigger chance of it happening. Even with a drain tube there was still an excessive amount of fluid and it had to go somewhere. Anyway, I would still do it again.

Great pictures, you are gorgeous. How long have you been married? Definitely been there. Having to buy things bigger so my boobs would fit in them. I did this for the past 20+ years. If I were you I would really talk to a plastic surgeon and see if there are other alternatives to stitches on the inside or they may have some that are considered hypoallergenic.

One thing I learned this last month since I'm losing weight - (11 pounds gone in ONE month on Nurtra Systems) is that we can fix our metabolism. it takes me forever to lose now with my hormones all out of whack - EATING A SMALL BREAKFAST will jump start your metabolism....I never ate breakfast in my life - and after reading a weight loss site - all the body builders and fitness experts say if you have to skip meals - don't skip breakfast. your body will start using the fuel from the food to help balance your metabolism - so try to eat a small bowl of low fat cereal - or something like a breakfast bar - and make each meal smaller - and eat more frequentlly and your body will start re-zoning itself. | |
