That is absolutely disgusting! How could someone do that to an innocent child? Children are gifts from God and they will have to answer to that someday. I just hope that this child has not been traumatized too greatly and that she will be able to live a normal life both physically and mentally.

I know what you mean...my Ashley turns 9 on Sunday and weighs 68 lbs! She's long and lean and she eats me out of house and home! (and it don't bother me a bit!) I just cannot come to terms with the thought of a mother locking her child up and starving her. I just can't imagine it. When we go to the grocery store my daugther is always throwing in fruit roll ups, cereals, ice cream, ect. If my child hasn't had dinner, it's my mission to see that she does asap! What the hell is wrong with people? I will never understand this.

This just happened here in Kansas too except it was 2 girls. Basically the same situation though. It's so sad that people can do this!
