| Oh my!!! My bf and I were just talking about this! I was sitting in the family room with 1 window open and the fan was off. He came in complaining how hot it was and proceeded to open the other window, turn on the fan, and open the door. AND THEN HE LEFT THE ROOM! AHH Then I went and closed them all. I too think it is a male/female thing. |

| I'm always cold and my hubby is "just right!" My 83 year old mom lives with us too, and she is always FREEZING. She has to wear jackets in the house. The other thing that irritates me is that I have to take a jacket to restaurants in the summer because it is always freezing! I usually drink iced tea with my meals and then I get even colder in a restaurant.

| If you find that you're always cold or have extremely cold hands and feet you might need to have your thyroid levels checked. I had one winter that when I would go to bed the coldness of the sheets would make my teeth chatter and I would take forever to warm up my side of the bed. I had my thyroid checked and it was low so now I'm on medication. I still have trouble being a little cold but I just keep blankets around and carry a jacket with me.

| John's seems to be hot when I'm cold as well. we keep the house at 80 during the day when we're both at work and have it programmed to cool the place down to 75 when we get home. It's really cool it remembers the time it takes to adjust to the correct temp and will start up earlier to get the temp down before we get home. I always have a blanket on me and he never does.

As far as the bed thing... I swish my feet really fast like I'm making the bottom of a snow angel and let the friction warm the sheets. I sleep under the cover to keep my head warm....

| My hubby is always warm and walks around the house with boxer shorts and no shirt, whilst I am in a jogging suit. At work everyone says I need to put meat on my bones as I have my portable heater on at all times, winter, spring, fall and YES even SUMMER It is good to know I am not the only one |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'd way rather be cold than hot - when you're cold you can add clothes....You can only go so far when you're hot before you end up naked and STILL sweating. |
