| Decorating.... How do you decorate your house? I've always enjoyed decorating and love hearing how others decorate. I am into the primitive look. I love antiques! I can't wait to hear how others decorate!!!

| I'm not really sure what style I have. I guess you would say ecclectic. I love antiques (my hubby hates them) and love Victorian things. Living room paint is called red, red wine with burgundy leather rocker recliners and oversized sofa with cherry side tables. Lots of stuff on the walls in groupings, ranging from framed art, photos, and collectibles.

| Everything in my house is very traditional. I love to decorate too. We've been in our house for almost 3 years and we still have so much to do like add crown and picture frame moldings and paint some rooms.

| My style is eclectic....I have funky Jacobean(dark heavily carved wood) chairs and other antiques that I mix with simple sleek contemporary pieces. It all works because I keep everything simple and only use things I love. I do a lot of editing. My walls are filled with paintings and we designed the lighting to highlight them. I used simple linen and textured fabrics as well as sisal rugs in a similar natural color to unify the look. My house is very open on the first floor so you can see my gardens from every angle. Two sets of french doors lead to a porch and stone terrace. The artwork and gardens are the highlight of my home.

| Well my cousin and I are moving into an apartment together in a few years and already know how we're going to decorate it kind of the dark tiki look like palm trees but very subtle They have a ton of stuff for it at b&bw at nice prices it looks so classy to me as long as you don't over do it then it looks stupid! I love decorating too! I tend to redecorate the house I live in now every season and I'm constantly moving the furniture around ha ha |

| Were moving into our house in 2 weeks from today (I'm soo excited!! ) Our bedroom I'm painting a light babypink, w/ a black and white bedspread I found at Target. It's really cute, has a lilly on it. I'm going to paint my closet bright pink. I'm not sure how I'm going to paint rocky's room yet. Our kitchen is all black and silver appliances, w/ a grayish floor. The furniture we bought is black leather, and the tables are glass tops w/ a wood shelf underneither, and the legs are nickel-colored. That's all I thought of so far. We gotta buy soo much stuff, so we really can't afford to decorate all that much right away. |

| I would have to say English garden traditional. I love tea sets and a variety of them. I have Blue Willow dishes everywhere in my house!! They are my favorite. My dh says we have enough to serve 80 people!! I love soft warm colors although I do not like green. My kitchen is a light blue with grapes and wines and of course, Blue Willow! I have sleigh beds in the bedrooms and mine is a light cherry with light colored linens. I have many garden paintings that I have done and some I have bought all over the house. The basement is my husband's room so it has a pool table and poker table with deer heads and JD mirrors! |

| I have a log home (2 1/2 story, but looks small from the front) - we designed it and built it on a hillside, so you drive up to what looks like a small country cabin, but get inside or drive to the back and see that it isn't small. Hard to explain. Anyway, I LOVE primitives and antiques! I have old saws, etc in the living room (hanging on walls and scattered about). The living room is right now in a light tan color, but soon to be repainted - any suggestions would be great! We have moss green (if you can call it that) furniture and a few suede tan/brown pieces scattered in there too. We are hoping to go all brown leather though. The ceiling is sloped and at 26' with a native stone fireplace (with insert). The ceiling is light pine wood and the floor is wood (georgian oak, I think). I have old kitchen items (kraut cutter, etc) in the kitchen (plus, old bottles on very top of the cabinets, between the cabinet tops and ceiling) - old glass milk jugs, mtn. dew/coke bottles (the very old ones) and so forth. The kitchen has the same wood floor as the living room - actually it is throughout the house, except in the downstairs - and plain off white ceiling. The walls are currently painted some sort of country green, but that will be changed too - again, would love ideas. The cabinets are a lighter oak and dark green tile countertops and black appliances. The bathroom has the same cabinets, ceiling and floor as the kitchen, but only with a light speckled tan counter top and tile. The paint is the same as the living room and it is decorated in primitive roman type objects - urns, rock and painted concrete pieces, etc. It is a mix of browns, tans, whites and blacks.

| My game room (downstairs) is crazy. This was suppose to be "the guys" place, but it never mind it completely and needs a makeover. The floors downstairs are all painted concrete. The extra room is a blue with grayish (stone looking) floor. The game room is white with white ceiling and red (Budweiser Red) floor! There is an arched fireplace down there of native stone and the start of what was suppose to be a rock kitchenette/bar area. We have a few game tables and a pool table and the entertainment center down there - my parents needed the couch and love seat for their other place, so we let them have it. The laundry room is painted a pale yellow with a darker yellow floor (sounds crazy, but actually looks good). It is decorated in a flower garden theme - pictures, mirrors, shower curtain, etc.
