| Problems at the house Since I brought Rylee home, I've kept her in a puppy yard in the kitchen when someone can't keep an eye on her. Then, at night, she sleeps in a soft carrier. Well, my cousin has a 9 month old chihuahua, and they just moved in a month ago. The chihuahua has free roam of the house and pees and poos anywhere and everywhere she chooses. My cousin tries to tell me she's not, but we find it everywhere. The bathroom, the basement, the family room, the living room. I am so frustrated, but she won't do anything about it. Any advice? How do I tell her that this is ruining MY home, and she needs to try something different?

| Oh how frustrating for you, it's totally not fair to you that her dog is not fully trained. How can she not know? I hope your dog doesn't have a set back because of this. I guess what I'd do is train her pup right along with yours. When you let your dog out, her's goes out. When you feed your dog, her dog get's fed as well, that way they should need to go out at the same time. I think her dog needs to be confined the same as your dog too. Good Luck! |

| I think I would definately say something to her. For one you dont need your carpets ruined, second if you went to the trouble of training your own dog not to do this why should you have to put up with it from your cousins dog. It can be done in a nice but firm manner, and heck if she doesnt do something about it yo can always put dog doo doo in her bed lmao lmao. just kidding really I was . sue |

I can see your frustration with the Chihuahua. How obnoxious. I would say "listen, I don't mean to cause trouble with the living arrangements, but I wanted to let you know that something has been really bothering me... I am keeping Rylee under control and from peeing wherever she wants. If you are going to live here w/ your dog, then please follow my lead and confine him/her when you can't watch him." Sounds easier than it is I'd bet.

| Ask her "Do you remember the promises you made when we were discussing the possibility of you living in my house?" |
