97 in Frankfort, Indiana with a heat index over 105. Thunderstorms are due tomorrow with a cold front, but still suppose to be in the low 90's. I'm not good with hot weather. Much prefer mid 70's, so do the babies.

Today in Durant, Ok it was 108 with heat index of 111. I am a realtor and I about died when i went to show a house today and the ground was cracking and in one spot there was a 1" gap. This is the worst that i have saw it in many years.

Right now at 10pm (ballpark) it is 82 with 99% humidity. The heat index is 94. I'm not sure what our actual temp. got to today, but it was horrid! Oh, and we're in Northwest, MO.

It was 101 here in Baltimore in the Shade...in the sun...with humidity, my friends car said 112....we stood outside until the air cooled the car off some...

It's 11:00 PM here in Dallas right now. It's 94 with a heat index of 97!!! That's 11 o'clock at NIGHT, people!!!! It's way to hot here.

I hear ya, I'm in Northern California also and like you said it's been this hot before, but some reason it feels hotter. It started to cool around 8:25 p.m. and even then it felt humid. Also, the same with my A.C. it does not seem to be cooling the house. I thought it was broken I had my boyfriend out their trying to fix it and he kept telling me there is nothing wrong with the A.C. Poor guy was out in that heat

It was 102 yesterday and supposed to be as hot if not hotter here today - temps have been running between 98 and 102 for over a week now. And I USED to live in the state of Mississippi but because of the heat and all, it's "fried" my brain and I now live in the state of confusion!!!
