I remember working at a local university and they would put on meetings for girls with eating disorders (well, just meetings for everyone to be aware of different types of eating disorders).......anyway, they had a "doll" of what Barbie would look like if she was "real" - she was UNreal! Ever so tall, big head, stick thin! CRAZY! I come from a family of TALL people (5'8-6'5) - on my father's side (no, I am not tall, I took after my mothers side ) None of them are a size 2!!! I couldn't imagine. I have a cousin that is about 6'2 (yes, tall for a girl) and skinny (looks skinny, VERY skinny) but she wears a size 8-10 and they fit well. So, knowing what she looks like and what she wears, I couldn't imagine someone who is 5'8 and a size 2! Speaking of size: my husband and I were reading an article about a lady who last about 50 pounds and went from a size 16/18 (sometimes 20/22) to a size 2/4 and she weighed (I forgot what it was, but it was over 140), but we couldn't figure out how the measurements fit together. OKAY, our bodies are all different, but when I was weighed 110-115, I was a size 5 (sometimes a 2 - depending on style of clothes). Anyway, we just thought that was odd! I have lost 28 lbs and have only gone down maybe two sizes! I would like to get rid of another 23 lbs to reach my goal weight, but I wonder how many sizes I will drop then? Weight lose is such a strange and tough area to conquer! Just thought I would ramble alittle while.............

| Okay, we don't want to hear "bathroom" stories ................ BUT ...........my doctor had me on some sort of weight lose pills about a year ago (got over taking those after about two months and haven't looked back since )....anyway, I worked at the school then and the pills made you HAVE to go and go bad! Not #1, but #2 and not your normal #2. It was horrible! I could tell you more without going into much detail, but I won't! Anyway, it was very bad - body getting rid of the fat - so you could imagine! You couldn't try to go on a trip, car ride, etc without fear of having an accident! Needless to say, it SUCKED big time and I haven't been on a weight lose pill since! (I know not all pills would do that and they all effort everyone differently, but I working hard myself this time). Wish me luck......................

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Jenn218 - You go girl !! 28 lbs is alot and good for you !! I'm here and getting ready to lose that same amount so if you need to talk - just pm me ! (I'll probably be pm'ing YOU for advise) I posted the water thread for everyone - but for people trying to lose weight - I couldn't believe how VERY important water really is in aiding weight loss. I've been on one strict diet before ...3 years ago and lost too much weight - I was at 114 and everyone said "GAIN SOME BACK".....I guess I went a little overboard and suceeded lol ....cause now I have to do it again. For me at 5'5" - 125 is a good weight for me and I WILL do this. But for those taller women - I can see how sizes and such would be confusing AND hard to find.....just like us 'big boobed' women LOL - I don't think I OWN a button up the front shirt and when I did buy them - they just never fit right.... I am praying to the Boob God that I lose some there when I lose this weight. If I could ship some Boob to someone - LINE UP HERE ! |

I showed him an article that said that if you sit for a long period of time, even if you are not "doing anything", it can cause hemorroids! (whether that is true or not, I don't know) - Needless to say, it hasn't stopped his long bathroom visits! My daughter is taking after him too! Okay, Okay.....yes, most of us have sat in that room longer than normal and sometimes with a magazine......hey, maybe it is our quiet place for the moment! You all are cRaZy .........but that is why I you all!
