| I Hope NO ONE Takes This The Wrong Way!!! I have been a member here since December and I absolutely love the site and the people! I won't name names or anything but there are some people on here who enjoy being rude and disrespectful to others. I haven't been attacked personally, but I am just at the point of bursting into tears out of the frustration of seeing other people having to defend themselves. I am not the type of person to attack peoples' personalities but it seems that the people who are attacking others are the one's that want all the sympathy in the world when things aren't going their way. I was raised that you should treat others how you want to be treated and you reap what you sew. If you sew negativity that is what you will get in return. I am just venting right now. I hope that we can began to THINK about how we would feel if someone said those mean and hateful things to us. Again, I just had to get that off of my heart before I went to bed!!! I am a VERY outspoken person, but I try to read and re read my posts so that I can take the sarcasm out of them because its hard to type a "tone", I don't know if that makes sense to you guys or not, but I have a really sassy mouth but it is all in fun. You guys don't know me personally so if I responded to you guys the way that I would respond to my family and friends, you would definitely think that I am a rude and inconsiderate bit*h! I know that I don't like to get my feelings hurt, so I am VERY Careful not to hurt anyone's feelings! Goodnight All!!!!

| I agree with you. That is why I never post anything personal on here anymore. I try to stay as general as possible. People here can be very judgemental and hurtful. Some of the inferences that are made are just crazy. I know that people wouldn't say HALF of those comments either if they weren't hiding behind their keyboards. |

| Because of that I stay away from posts that are volatile...posting my thoughts aren't going to make much of a difference I figure, so I don't post. There are many people on here who have become very dear to me...some I have such great respect for (yet they really don't know me from Adam).....they never get their knickers in a knot over small stuff...life is too short to be rude and unkind. Those who are mature and handle situations with grace are those with whom I'd like to sit and have a cuppa! The rest I avoid. I don't need the stress. |

| There is every type of personality in most groups including this one. I will send a private e-mail to those that are being treated unfairly to let them know that not all on Yorkie Talk are like that. I do remember however that young girl said her dog was hit by a car and that her parents said "nature will take it's course" and some thought she was just trying to get attention while others found out where she lived and contacted the local Humane Society to go get the dog. There are some heros on here with help and advice that have actually saved dogs lives.

| Very good post. I can be one of "those people" at times. SOmetimes i dont realize how harsh it sounds when I respond to a thread and theres been a couple times i have pm'd a person and actually apologized for being rude. Sometimes things I critize usually cant be helped and thats not anybodys fault but than there are times that a situation is so stupid that it cant be helped. I only recall one time that I was very forward and rude and I pm and apologized for that. I am not a bad person and I actually like it here. Believe it or not theres threads that I wont even go into because It probably wouldnt be very pleasant. I am sorry for those i have offended and whatnot but the same has been done to me over very Minimal things. I didnt take this post the wrong way at all, I see your point. I thought I would reply for what it is worth. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I really think for the most part - people here are GREAT. I honestly haven't seen any rude posts but will take your word for it. Look at the BIG PICTURE - more often than not....Threads are usually very helpful and most people really do care - This site is full of some pretty awesome people - I know here and there we'll see posts that make us shake our heads - but when you get THIS many people posting on one site - things are bound to be said that rub us wrong. Being a pretty active member... I think the site has far less controversies than it used to. IF you see someone being outright rude - maybe try pm'ing them in the future ? They may not even know it. Everyone has their own posting style...some are more blunt than others & I've seen apologies made just for that reason alone... |

| I've seen these volitile threads a few times on here. It starts out with a fairly simple question or comment then the firworks begin. It's gotten to the point that just by reading the first post I say to myself, " oh no, she never should of said that!" and then I watch it happen. It's like dueling keyboards, some just want the last word in and can't let it drop. I've also noticed that those kind of threads are the ones with the most viewers: interesting. I've also seen the excuse that "it was said on the spur of the moment", but it takes a while to type it, which allows the sender time to think about hitting that send button. I even had to think about if I should hit the send on this because this is one of " those" threads. I must also say that there are alot of other people on hear that no matter how many times I've seen the same posts on the same subjects their always nice, because the people asking are new and the replier never forgets that ,thank you for that. |
