Debbie is right - it WILL dry your hair - I've used it many times and my hair gets super blond - but I am a blond normally...both my kids even used it last year -

And one of the best moisturizing conditioners I have found is Aussie Deep Conditioner...I use it now on a regular basis...my hair has foiled hi-lites and it is actually soft! But I need my roots done!

I have light brown hair and it truned my hair Gold. It LOOKED BAD! then it took about a yr or two for my hair to grow out enought for me to cut it out.


I didnt like it at all!!

This was 3 or 4 years ago!!

i did it again and it did nothing so iput frost dye highlight in and it worked better lol i think ill sitck to that lol

I used to use it all the time when I was in high school but my hair is naturally blonde (its just a dirty blond). My mother-in-law owns a hair salon and she tells anyone that does not have blond hair to NOT use sun-in, as it will turn your hair a gold/orangish type blond.

I used it but it has been quite some time ago. I have light brown hair and I must be "different" cause it didn't turn my hair orange or red. But then again, I was also a lifeguard at a pool and the chlorine and sun together lightened my hair. I also used lemon juice and it helped lighten it some - got to where I just used the lemon juice and not the sun-in (lemon juice was cheaper ). And definitely use conditioner! For a while I went to "human groomers" and had hi-lites put in. Now I have my natural hi-lites - gray - and they look just fine
