Donating YT 30K Club Member | I tried something like that years ago called summer blonde. I had mousy brown hair it turned it orange. I would try a streak and see what color it turns.

| I used it many years ago, but with not so good results. My hair turned orangey. I think it's mostly peroxide, which you can get at the drug store and apply for pretty much the same results. It depends mainly on your hair color, I think. If you're blonde or dark blonde, it might be okay, but darker hair...I might want to test it on a hidden area. |

| Same here, turns my hair orange too. I was addicted to Sun In in middle school it wasn't until just recently that I noticed how awful my hair really looked with it! It took a long time and a lot of money to fix the damage that it caused to my hair as well. My hair is naturally dark brown, so orange is not a good color with olive skin. I would say get a colorist to sugest a product suited for your hair type/color. If you have any friends that do hair that is. |

| I used it on my dark blonde hair 10 years ago and it turned orangey...but I have heard that they have improved it in the past few years...the more you use it, the lighter your hair will become. You don't have to be in the sun either...you can use the blow dryer to get results as well. Be sure you condition, condition, condition when you use it as it does dry your hair out. Good luck!!!
