Well, here it is, guys! I did it! In May 2005, I did this, and it felt so great....that I haven't cut my hair all year, and I just did it AGAIN! This time though, it's much shorter!

Wow, what a change! I've *never* had hair this short in my whole life! It's fun and I don't regret it one bit.

But my husband doesn't know yet....he's still at work. I'll fill you in on his reaction when he gets home at 6ish. (Hmm :rolleyes:)

....and here are the AFTER ones! YAY, this was fun!

I teared up for like fifteen seconds, and then I was fine. LOL......such a big shock to go from long to short just like that! But I love it, I really do! Ah, so refreshing, and talk about an adrenaline rush! :)

Oh, I love your hair cut! It looks beautiful on you. What great hair you have. I'm sure hubby will get over it, especially when it's for such a good cause. That is wonderful of you to do it!

Thanks, guys! It gets SO hot here in the summer and I'm always in and out of the pool, beach, etc....and my hair usually takes FOREVER to dry and so it's such a hassle.

Now I won't worry about the hassle and enjoy the pool/beach more knowing I don't have to worry about my hair!

I love your haircut. I am sure hubby is going to love it too!!! What a wonderful cause. My hair takes sooooo long to grow I can never get it long enough to do that!!

Val i did this about 3 mo. ago, mine was down to my butt, but i wasent as brave as you, mine is a wee bit longer....

Way to go. You look beautiful with short hair (and long hair, too). I don't think I could ever grow mine long enough to donate. It would be full of split ends and damaged hair and they wouldn't use it anyway!

I agree with Kath!!! I don't know what is up with these men. They always feel like they can have running commentary on our hair but god forbid they take a minute to shave!!! LOL.

Your hubby is probably just a little shocked, he'll come around. You look great and it really was a great thing to do. What I want to know is how do you get your hair to grow so fast??? All that in one year

It looks great-very cute and sassy! You have a great face and I am so impressed how awesome your hair looks in diffent lengths- thats hard to pull off.

Its even better that you are able to do something for someone else by getting something as simple as a haircut- very awesome!:p

Just like when I told my husband about going to see a plastic surgeon to see about a breast reduction he told me he didn't like the ideal too well. I told him too bad and he would get over it. I went because my back neck and shoulders hurt constantly and I have indentions on my shoulders.

He is over it now, just worried about the surgery.

Just waiting on insurance approval now.

I'm sure he will be fine with it soon. You look great. Did Sully have to look at you twice to make sure it was you?
