| Auuuuuuugh!!! Big Creepy Bug!! Auuuuuugh!!!!!!!!! So I walk into my bathroom...and in the sink was the nastiest creepiest bug I have ever laid my eyes on. It's kind of long...tan...and has a huge amount of legs with really long antennaes coming out of its head. IT'S DISGUSTING AND HAS ME COMPLETELY CREEPED OUT I could've run the water in the sink and drowned it...but I couldn't. I was that freaked out. I screamed/gasped/cried out/etc. and slammed the door and ran to my room. Now I am paranoid. My head is itching and feels like I have bugs crawling in it. I am looking on the floor every few seconds to make sure there is not another creepy bug like that crawling on the floor and I can almost guarantee I am going to be having nightmares of this creepy bug. I am wondering if it's a centipede? I've never seen one. We had them in the basement for a while but I was never down there so I never seen them. My brother has and my brother is completely freaked out by them. He's someone who is usually a big strong kid but when it came to centipedes he would drop everything and run and beg someone to go down and kill it. If he's scared of a bug then it MUST be bad I've never ever seen a centipede. So I'm wondering if that's what it is?? Anyone ever had a bug like this? It's a longer bug but not as long as a worm. It's kind of a light brown/light tan color and has tons of legs that stick out and wiggle with two huge antennaes on its head that looks like string (the antennaes...not the head) WHAT THE HECK IS THIS THING and am I wuss to be this freaked out over a bug? is there anyone else that is just as creeped out by creepy bugs like this?? Now I need to go and buy a new toothbrush...I'm too afraid that creepy nasty thing has crawled on my toothbrush (when I get paranoid/freaked out I get REALLY paranoid/freaked out!) all i need is one of my yorkies to find one and eat it -Melissa

| Sounds like a centepede or millipede to me... Is there anyone there that can catch/kill it for you? I feel bad for you but I'm giggling a little too cuz I know how I would act if I saw one in my bathroom... I'd be sooooo freaked out too! Can you vacuum it up? Then you can spray Raid into the vacuum to kill it and toss the bag way. Think you can get close enough to do that?

| I was going to post a picture of a centepede for you to see if that's what you saw but as I was searching I got all itchy with the creepies and had to stop. Did you get up your nerve to suck it up with the vacuum yet? I'm rooting for you! Get tough! Get mad! You can do it! Suck it up!

| Come on! Be strong! Do it for your babies! What if they get a hold of it? Just grab the vacuum, attach all the hoses so you don't have to get too close and suck up the thing!

| Oh yuck!! That's enough to gross anybody out. I think if I found one like that I'd have to leave the house, only then I'd be afraid to go back in. I remember one time finding a huge, ugly spider in the living room while my husband was at work. I couldn't squash it so the only thing to do was to get the vacuum cleaner (when I put the nozzle down on top of it the legs stuck out all over, it was that big) Still makes me shudder to think of it. The only trouble was once I had it in the vacuum I was afraid to turn it off in case it crawled out again so my husband came home from late shift to find the vacuum still running in the middle of the floor, lolol. I have great empathy for anyone who doesn't like bugs.

| That is pretty gross. I shuddered just looking at it, I can't even imagine actually seeing on in real life ewww... When I used to live with my parents we got scorpians all the time. I was terrified of them, funny enough I'm a scorpio too. Anyway so if I ever saw one and someone wasn't home to get it I would put a cup or something over it and just leave it, I know pathetic. And in all the time we lived there I was the only one to get stung/bit by one and two different times at that. The first time I was bawling thinking I was going to die. I was holding my wrist (I was stung on my hand) so the venom wouldn't go up my arm like they do in the movies. Turns out that they weren't that bad and when I calmed down I couldn't even see where it had got me.

| I agree, they are gross.... They're actually pretty common in my area. They really like basements.... Every now and then one will find it's way up to the second floor by us. That's when I scream for hubby.... I have to clean up anything that comes out of the cats/dog and he has to take care of the bugs. It's a fair trade off if you ask me! When my parent were remodeling the basement they REALLY stirred 'em up and we'd find one in every room of the house every day. We had some HUGE ones. I think the biggest one I saw was close to 6 inches long. EEEEEEEEWWWWW. They aren't so bad now that the basement has been turned into a rec room and we got rid of all the clutter. I think most of 'em left once they realized we were taking over down there! |

| You've got to get rid of this thing before it disappears on you. You'll have no idea where it is. You could be laying there at night and find it crawling on you!!! yick!!! get it now while you know.
